Harrison Butker (KC) Over 1.5 Field Goals Made (-135)

Odds available at time of publishing. 1u.

The kicker market is where the real fun is. Butker has hit this prop in 6 of his last 7 games if you include last year’s playoffs. He finds himself in an interesting matchup against a Bengals team looking to bounce back from last week’s surprise defeat to the Patriots. In 2023, we saw a regular-season matchup between these 2 teams and Butker kicked 6 field goals. Kansas City is a 6-point favorite in this one and should play with a lead in theory. If that’s the case then field goals should be in play throughout this one. Cincinnati allowed the Patriots to kick 3 field goals in Week 1 and we only need 2 here to get us home. Let’s roll!

Jerome Ford (CLE) Over 12.5 Rush Attempts (-117)

Odds available at Caesars Sportsbook at time of publishing. 1u.

This line is a gift. Ford had 12 rush attempts in Week 1 and that was despite being down 24 points at the beginning of the 3rd quarter. This game projects to be much closer and running should be viable for Cleveland for much longer in this game. Although Ford only had 12 handoffs he did carry 12 of the 14 runs for a nice 85% of the workload. Last week we saw Miami run with their RBs 23 times against the Jaguars. If Cleveland does the same then it’s difficult to imagine a path where Ford doesn’t have 13 of those carries. Ford is finally free of Kareem Hunt taking away his handoffs and should be more of a featured guy. I think this is a soft line he could soar over if the script leads that way.
