NFL Week 17 is upon us and we have just a week left of the 2024 regular season. We’ve already seen a ton of action take place, with the Chiefs and Ravens blowing out the Steelers and Texans on Christmas Day before the Seahawks edged the Bears 6-3 on Thursday Night Football. We also had a tripleheader of games on NFL Network on Saturday, so we’ve certainly been spoiled for football this week! The action continues on Sunday and I have picked out my best NFL player prop bets from the games, which you can find below as I target Vikings running back Aaron Jones and Jets running back Breece Hall. This is a no-brainer to me. This is the best game on Sunday and we need exposure in this one. The stars will be shining in what feels like a major game for both teams. Aaron Jones is a great runner but is often overlooked as a pass catcher. Jones had 4 catches last time against Green Bay earlier in the season and all we need is 3 here. The Packers will be without Jaire Alexander so I’m expecting double teams on Justin Jefferson. The flats should be wide open for Jones to get dump-offs here. I really think this one has ladder potential too and I love that this is a rare non-weather game for this weekend. Let’s not overthink this one!

Breece Hall (NYJ) over 11.5 rush attempts (-135)

This is a weird one. I usually only like taking over for attempts on teams that are projected to win. The Jets are massive 10-point underdogs here. Why do I like this so much then? Breece Hall is a special talent and I’m sure he wants to finish his disappointing season with a string of good games. This game will likely be run heavy for both teams as this game projects to have brutal weather with high winds and precipitation. Even if Buffalo routs New York, this one should hit with Hall needing just 3 handoffs per quarter. I had this opening at 13.5 so I will take this all day.
