Week 14 of the 2021 NFL season is upon us, and right now it’s time to talk some player props. With so many games to take data from, bettors and oddsmakers alike will all have a pretty good idea of how to approach certain players and teams when it comes to props, and there are usually a few opportunities to take advantage. I believe I’ve found a couple of great NFL player props that are worth honing in on.
Let’s get down to my two favorite NFL player props of the Sunday slate, but make sure you also check out our expert NFL picks and NFL predictions for every single game. It’s the smart thing to do.
NFL Player Props: Terry McLaurin over 60.5 receiving yards (-115)
Line available at DraftKings at time of publishing.
I’m expecting a big game from Terry McLaurin for Washington against Dallas today. For starters, he often seems to dominate in these big division games. McLaurin has at least 7 catches in each of his last 6 games against the NFC East. Last year, he had at least 7 catches and 90 yards in both of his games against the Cowboys. And that was with Kyle Allen and Alex Smith as his quarterbacks. Taylor Heinicke is playing at a much higher level than either of those guys approached last year. Logan Thomas is also out after hurting his knee last week, which will only help McLaurin’s target share.
Washington should be passing downfield a bit more than usual now that they’re facing a potent offense like Dallas’ and will need to keep up. The Cowboys’ corners like to play aggressively and take lots of risks. That can lead to some interceptions, but it also means they allow plenty of big plays. Dallas is giving up the fifth-most passing yards per game in the league.

NFL Player Props: Kareem Hunt over 15.5 receiving yards (-113)
Line available at FanDuel at time of publishing.
I think Kareem Hunt’s receiving prowess is being underestimated just because of the game he’s coming off. Hunt had zero catches in the Browns’ most recent game, but that was his first one back after a long injury absence. It was also a game in which Cleveland’s offense as a whole struggled mightily. Baltimore’s defense is heavily susceptible to running back passes, which is why I took the over on Najee Harris last week and he finished with five catches.
Kevin Stefanski knows that, and I think he’ll make it a priority to get Hunt more involved coming off the bye. Before the Week 12 disaster Hunt had played in 6 games, and had got to at least 17 receiving yards in 4 of them. I’m expecting the Browns’ offense as a whole to have a lot more success this time around, which will help Hunt and all the rest of their skill guys.
