NFL Week 1 best bet to make with DraftKings Sportsbook: Saints -3 over Titans (-115)

With Derek Carr under center, there is a lot to like about this Saints team heading into the 2023 season, and he should be able to lead New Orleans to a solid victory over Tennessee. With the NFC South once again likely to struggle for true contenders, Carr and the Saints have a great opportunity to make it into the playoffs and that all starts against a Titans team that looks to be trending in the wrong direction.

Tennessee currently looks to be going backwards and it’s mind-boggling to me that a team with 2 young quarterbacks is still opting to go with Ryan Tannerhill under center. In addition, their offensive line looks very weak and should be dominated by the Saints’ pass-rush throughout the game. New Orleans’ pass-rush ranked in the top 5 in the NFL last season, and with the home crowd on their side should cause all sorts of problems for the Titans. New Orleans is more than capable of winning this game by at least a touchdown, which gives us plenty of value with them only a 3-point favorite. With Michael Thomas also finally back healthy, the Saints should be able to outscore Tennessee.
