Show Bio

Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props. The NBA playoffs continue with all the sides participating tonight currently tied in their series. The defending champions Milwaukee Bucks will be returning home to take on the Boston Celtics. They were able to gain home-court advantage on the road and will be keen to hold onto it. The Golden State Warriors are in the same position out west, as they welcome the Memphis Grizzlies.

You can find our full game previews here. But for now take a look at my favorite player props below for tonight’s games.

Al Horford over 10.5 points (-116)

Al Horford of the Celtics has had a good start to this series against the Bucks, recording at least 11 points in the first 2 games. The Bucks are more than happy to have the Celtics beat them from the perimeter and they are currently allowing them to take 46.5 3-points attempts per game. Through these 2 games Horford has been responsible for 7 of those attempts. I cannot see that changing tonight. He is making 48.3% of his 3-point attempts this postseason. Do not be surprised to see him knock down 3 on the night, which would put him just a field goal shy of the over. Horford has failed to score 11 points just once through 6 playoff games and I expect the Bucks will try to make him be the one to beat them. Take Horford’s over as a result.

Brook Lopez over 1.5 blocks (+108)

Bucks center Brook Lopez seems back to his shot-blocking best this postseason, and especially in this series against the Celtics. He has recorded multiple blocks in 5 of his 7 games. That includes 3 in each of the games against tonight’s opponents. This postseason the Celtics have been trying to get to the rim relentlessly, which has left them allowing teams to make 6 blocks per game against them. Lopez enjoys a size advantage over the Celtics frontline and is able to impact them in the paint. Marcus Smart is also not the craftiest finisher at the rim and should provide Lopez with the chance to impact him on his drives too. That should all lead to another great defensive performance for the center tonight.

Jaren Jackson Jr. over 22.5 points + rebounds (-113)

Through 2 games in this series, Jaren Jackson Jr. is averaging 22.5 points and 9 rebounds per game. While his points total is inflated by his 33-point effort in Game 1, his rebounding has been more consistent. The Grizzlies have a much bigger frontline than the Warriors, which has allowed them to pull down 14.5 offensive rebounds per game in this series. Look for Jackson Jr. to play a major role on that front and get to double-digit rebounds. In Game 2 the forward had a horrible shooting night, making just 21.4% of his field goals, yet he still managed 12 points. A return closer to the 40% he has shot this postseason would give the over great chance to clear.
