Show Bio

Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props. With 6 games on the nights NBA slate, I have picked a couple of my favorite player props for the action. There are a few interesting matchups tonight, with the pick of the bunch being the showdown between the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers are coming into this after a painful loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. They will be keen to put an end to their losing streak tonight.

You can find our full game previews here. But for now let’s check out my player prop selections below.

Mo Bamba to record 10+ rebounds (+172)

With Wendell Carter Jr. confirmed out for tonight’s game, Mo Bamba will have a major role to play for the Magic tonight. The Memphis Grizzlies are not a team that plays small, with both Steven Adams and Jaren Jackson Jr. possessing significant size. Bamba could find himself up against Adams who would be a great matchup for him to rebound against. The New Zealander cannot stretch the floor and operates mainly within the paint. However, he is not someone that can score in the post, which should mean a major part of this matchup will be these centers fighting for rebounds. With Bamba having double-digit boards in 2 of his last 3 games, he should be up for the fight.

Russell Westbrook under 5.5 assists (+100)

I backed Westbrook to go under this line in my Lakers and Clippers same game parlay and he delivered just that. He managed just 3 assists in that game which extends his recent poor run of passing the ball. He has been held to fewer than 6 assists in 6 of his last 9 games. That is including the 5 against the Warriors when these sides last met. On the season the Warriors have not been kind to opponent assists numbers, either. They allow the 3rd fewest assists in the league and they should be able to contain Westbrook once more. The Lakers have been struggling shooting the ball, too, ranking 25th in 3-point percentage. That should limit his assists from drive and kick scenarios. Back the under on his assists.
