Show Bio

Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props. The NBA playoffs continue on Monday with a 3-game slate. The Toronto Raptors, Dallas Mavericks and Denver Nuggets all find themselves behind in their respective series. Another loss tonight and the teams could find themselves in much more desperate situations.

You can find our full NBA game previews here. But for now check out my player prop selections below.

Pascal Siakam over 25.5 points (-108)

Pascal Siakam of the Toronto Raptors had a good game to start this series, dropping 24 points on 50% shooting from the field. He was successful in attacking on the inside, knocking down 6 shots in the paint. Joel Embiid had issues dealing with his quickness, especially from the high post. With injuries to Scottie Barnes and Thaddeus Young, as well as Gary Trent Jr. being doubtful, look for Siakam to be more of a focal point for the Raptors tonight. They were constantly looking to post up mismatches on Saturday and with Barnes unlikely to be available, Siakam becomes their biggest threat in such positions. As a result, look for him to have a big scoring night.

Bojan Bogdanovic over 25.5 points + rebounds + assists (-115)

In the first playoff game between the Jazz and the Mavericks, Bojan Bogdanovic stepped up as a clear second choice on offense behind Donovan Mitchell for Utah. Both his 26 points and 20 field-goal attempts ranked 2nd on the team in those categories. On top of that he was able to contribute 9 combined rebounds and assists. While Rudy Gobert has a major size advantage on the inside, he is not an offensive threat unless it’s from offensive rebounds or lob passes. That is likely to keep Bogdanovic as one of the focal points offensively for the Jazz. He was the most efficient player starter for his team despite shooting 33% from beyond the arc. Considering he is a career 39% shooter, there is still room for him to improve on that tonight.

Monte Morris over 11.5 points (-104)

Monte Morris of the Denver Nuggets came a couple of points short of hitting this line in the first game against Golden State. He was just 1 of 5 from the 3-point line and I expect him to improve on that tonight. Morris is making 39.5% of his 3-point attempts and he should be set to improve on his Game 1 showing. The Nuggets point guard was able to clear this line in each of his regular-season games against the Warriors, averaging 16.7 points per contest. He could be going up against Stephen Curry, who is still coming back from injury which should give Morris the green light to attack. With the attention Nikola Jokic is going to draw in the paint, Morris should continue to get clean looks from the perimeter and cutting to the rim. Look for him to improve on his last performance.
