Show Bio

Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props. With the NBA bringing us 5 more games tonight, I have selected my 3 favorite player props for the nights action. What will be the highlight game of the night for me will be the matchup between the Phoenix Suns and Chicago Bulls. The Suns currently lead the Western Conference while the Bulls are just a half game off from leading the East. You should check out the +1182 same game parlay that we have put together for that game.

You will also find all of our full NBA game previews here. But for now, let’s take a look at my player prop selections below.

Donovan Mitchell over 3.5 made threes (+130)

Mitchell returned from an 8-game absence in great style in his last game against the Nets. The Jazz superstar dropped 27 points, knocking down 6 of 7 attempts from beyond the arc in the process. He will now get the chance to torment the Knicks from the perimeter. Over the last 10 games the Knicks allow more 3-point attempts and makes than the Nets do. In terms of opponent makes, they rank 24th in the league over the last 10 games. He could have the likes of Kemba Walker and Evan Fournier up against him, with both being favorable matchups. Neither should be able to contain him off the dribble, and I would expect them to go under screens in pick-and-roll situations. Look for Mitchell to do damage in that case. He averages 9.4 attempts per game, and if he carries over his form from the Nets game that should be more than enough for the over.

OG Anunoby over 0.5 blocks (-135)

Anunoby has long been a versatile player capable of contributing across all statistical categories, and he is starting to get back to that this season. That has been specifically noticeable on the defensive end over the last 12 games, especially when it comes to blocks and steals. The blocks represent the best value and therefore they are my pick tonight. Over that stretch Anunoby has been able to record a block in 10 games. He is particularly effective in blocking shots against opponents trying to beat him off the dribble. With Miles Bridges lining up against him, I expect Anunoby to have those shot-blocking opportunities available to him.

Kyle Lowry under 13.5 points (-114)

Since coming back from his 9-game absence, Lowry has still not been able to shake off the rust. Over 2 games and 56 minutes of playing time, he has only been able to score a total of 11 points. With that current form and with Lowry only averaging 13 points per game on the season, the under looks a great value bet. The Heat point guard has faced off against the Wizards twice this season, failing to score more than 8 points on either occasion. Lowry makes 2 3-pointers per game on the season, which makes up a large proportion of his scoring. However, the Wizards allow the 2nd=fewest 3-pointers per game, and with a lengthy defender like Spencer Dinwiddie on the perimeter they should do well to contest Lowry tonight.
