There is just a single game on the NBA slate tonight as the Memphis Grizzlies travel to take on the Minnesota Timberwolves. The hosts could be eliminated from the postseason with a loss as they are trailing 3-2 in the series. They have, however, looked very competitive throughout this series, holding large leads in several of their losses. They cannot afford to let a lead slip again.

Karl-Anthony Towns over 36.5 points + rebounds (-118)
In the last 2 games of the series, Karl-Anthony Towns has stepped up for the Timberwolves. In Game 4 he was able to record a combined 47 points and rebounds, which he followed up with 40 in Game 5. It was the third time in the series that he has been able to clear the combined 37 points and rebound mark after also achieving the feat in Game 1. With the Timberwolves’ season on the line tonight, I expect him to come out aggressively. The Timberwolves lost the games in which he failed to record 10 field-goal attempts. Therefore, getting Towns involved offensively should be a point of focus for the hosts.
His rebounding has been very consistent throughout his games against the Grizzlies, and he has hit double-digit boards in 4 of the 5 games. That could potentially improve further with Brandon Clarke playing an increasingly larger role for the visitors. The center played 37 productive minutes in Game 5, his high for the series so far. However, he has just 1 attempt from beyond the arc in the process, which he ended up missing. Look for Towns to be tasked with keeping Clarke from influencing the game with his offensive rebounds. The fact that his matchup cannot space the floor should certainly help as he will be able to stay in and around the painted area.

Anthony Edwards over 3.5 made threes (+110)
After hitting at least 4 3-pointers in the first 4 games of the series, Anthony Edwards came up 1 short in Game 5. It was not for a lack of attempts, though, as he still managed 9 on the night. I expect him to get back to his previous form tonight. In this series he is still making 40.8% of his shots from deep. With his attempts remaining close to the 10 per game mark, it should be enough for this line to hit once more. That is especially true with him making 8 of 17 attempts while playing in Minnesota in this series.
Of the 16 teams that made the NBA playoffs, only 4 currently allow more 3-point attempts per game than the Grizzlies. Their willingness to let the Timberwolves attack from the perimeter should bode well for Edwards tonight. He could also find himself up against Desmond Bane, who does not have the greatest wingspan for a perimeter defender. That should allow Edwards to rise above him and maintain his level of efficiency from the 3-point line.
