We’ve got an opportunity to take NBA player props to the next level tonight people. There are not many days that I feel confident enough to slap a 3-star rating on a +290 bet. Those days just don’t happen. But I’m doing it tonight and honestly, I wish FanDuel had the cojones to put up a PJ Tucker 15+ points prop. I just feel it in my bones people. This one has to be played at FanDuel since they have the escalators for NBA player props. DraftKings has a version where they will usually give one number at elevated odds, but it really doesn’t come close to FanDuel in this area. I haven’t seen BetMGM offer much in this way either but they are always worth a look.
I don’t know if you’ve been watching but PJ Tucker looks more like a basketball player than a boxer at the moment. He’s actually taking shots, and on top of that he’s making them, too. Over his last 3 games he has attempted at least 6 field goals in all of them. He has taken 7 shots in 2 of those 3 games. Gotta shoot to score’ that’s just a scientific fact.
The Heat get the Detroit Pistons tonight and it’s hard to imagine they will be taking them seriously. We’re talking the Pistons, here. That matters because if Detroit can keep it close enough, then Tucker will stay on the floor longer.
This is by no means a lock or whatever the kids are calling it, but it’s definitely not something we should be getting +290 for. Tucker has his this total in 4 of his last 5 games and could legit do it on 4 made attempts from the field. This is definitely worth a bet.
