Just like every other day of the week, we need to be betting a NBA player prop. That’s just a fact. If these guys are going to be playing, we should be betting. There’s no way anyone could argue against that. We’ve got the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat going at 7:30pm ET on NBA TV tonight. We’re all going to be able to see it so that’s where I started my search for NBA player prop greatness tonight. Wouldn’t you know, I found a perfect move.

NBA Player Prop – Tyler Herro over 28.5 points + rebounds + assists (+100)

I took this at DraftKings but FanDuel pretty much has the same bet at 28.5 for -102. Both are deadly so we’re good at either of those 2 books. BetMGM still does not have a number for Herro but they should fall in line with the other 2 books. It’s always worth checking there before you bet to see what they have though.
Here’s something most of us haven’t thought about. Maybe Tyler Herro is good. Bubble Tyler was nasty and then last year’s Insta Tyler wasn’t so great. But watching him this year, it’s obvious something has changed. I think it’s because people were making fun of him on Twitter for saying he wanted to be in the same convo as Luka and Trae.

Over the last 3 games, Herro has hit 37, 32 and 33 in this NBA player prop market. In 7 games this season, he’s gotten home 5 times on 28.5. He’s rebounding and passing out assists which helps but honestly, when we bet these, we want points. Over his last 3 games, Herro has scored at least 22 points making it easy to go over 29 p+r+a with minimal peripheral stats.
Boston just played last night so we don’t know if there will be any surprise inactives tonight. It won’t matter though because Herro should get 30+ minutes whether a blowout is in progress or not. At even money, this is a decent bet and should get us through the 7:30 to 8:15 slot before the NFL game starts.
