The young 2023-24 NBA season continues on Wednesday with a humongous 13-game slate. It includes a doubleheader on ESPN, starting with the Oklahoma City Thunder hosting the New Orleans Pelicans before the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers square off in an in-city showdown. The Milwaukee Bucks, Boston Celtics, Miami Heat and Golden State Warriors are also taking the floor. Below is my NBA mega parlay for Wednesday, and we’re looking to make it 2 wins in a row after last night’s +1412 winner! Also, be sure to check out our NBA picks for all of today’s games.

Bucks -9.5 (+155)

Celtics -11.5 (-110)

Pelicans ML (+140)

NBA parlay odds: +1068

For this NBA parlay, we are going with 2 favorites against the spread – 1 on an alternate number – and 1 underdog on the money line. Let’s break down each of the 3 legs.

Milwaukee Bucks -9.5 alternate spread over Toronto Raptors (+155)

The Bucks opened with just a 1-point win over the 76ers even though Damian Lillard went for 39 points, and then they put up a clunker against the Hawks, losing by 17. However, Milwaukee bounced back to beat defending Eastern Conference champion Miami 122-114 on Monday. Five different Bucks scored in double-figures, including Lillard with 25 and Giannis Antetokounmpo with 33. As for the Raptors, they are 1-3 and Precious Achiuwa is doubtful for Wednesday due to a groin injury. They have dropped 3 in a row since winning their opener at home against the Timberwolves via a 97-94 decision. Even on the road (their first such game of the season), the Bucks should have a good chance to win this one by double-digits.

Boston Celtics -11.5 over Indiana Pacers (-110)

After suffering their first loss at home to Chicago this past Saturday, the Pacers have the tough task of facing the undefeated Celtics on the road. And to make matters worse, in addition to a difficult opponent, Indiana could be without Tyrese Haliburton, Bennedict Mathurin and Jalen Smith (all of them are game-time decisions with minor injuries). Moreover, the Celtics have pretty much owned this matchup of late. They have won 15 of the last 19 head-to-head encounters, including 8 of the last 9 at TD Garden. At 3-0, Boston is 1 of 3 remaining undefeated teams in the NBA along with Denver and Dallas. It has been a seamless transition so far with a somewhat new-look roster that features Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday in support of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. Count on the C’s winning big on Wednesday.

New Orleans Pelicans ML over Oklahoma City Thunder (+140)

Last season, the Pelicans won 3 of 4 games against the Thunder, including both of their forays on the road. New Orleans was able to win the battle on the boards for the most part, outrebounding Oklahoma City in 3 of the contests. The Thunder have Chet Holmgren at their disposal after he missed all of the 2022-23 campaign, but the Pelicans are physical inside and Holmgren will probably get pushed around by Jonas Valanciunas and Zion Williamson. New Orleans finds itself in the top 10 in the league in defensive rating on the heels of impressive performances against New York and Memphis. The visitors should be able to slow down Holmgren and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander enough to pull off an upset. At +140 on the money line, they have great value.
