We were a single Boston Celtics point away from cashing on yesterday’s NBA mega parlay at +1207 odds. I’m hoping we get that extra bit of luck back on Wednesday’s parlay picks. With 26 teams in action, we have plenty of options from which to choose.
I have decided for a 3-team NBA parlay, and you can also find all of our NBA picks for tonight’s 13-game slate.
Heat ML (+148)
Mavericks -11 (-110)
Warriors -3.5 (-110)
NBA parlay odds: +803
Miami Heat ML over Philadelphia 76ers (+148)
Even though this will be their 2nd game in two nights, I don’t really mind backing the Miami Heat. They match up with the Philadelphia 76ers really well, even when Embiid is playing. These 2 teams clashed on Christmas Day and Miami rolled to a 119-113 win despite being without Jimmy Butler. The Miami captain has been granted a leave of absence to attend a personal matter, so the Heat will have to do it one more time without their leader.
That’s fine, though, as we saw them take down the Milwaukee Bucks last night — 123-97 on the road. That was their 3rd win in 4 games and 5th in 7 outings. Going into the break with a win would be a huge moral boost as this team tries to climb up the standings in the East. The Sixers did win their last 2 games, but without Embiid it’s hard to imagine them staying consistent. Miami is 5-1 ATS/SU in the last 6 meetings; let’s go with the Heat to improve on that streak tonight with another victory.

Dallas Mavericks -11 over San Antonio Spurs (-110)
I know anything can happen these days in the NBA, but anything other than a convincing Mavericks win would be a major surprise. San Antonio just ended a 7-game losing streak with a win at Toronto, that was the first time in their last 5 games they managed to cover the spread. They are just 4-16 SU in their last 20 road games and currently on a 7-game losing streak against teams in the Southwest Division.
Dallas has owned the regular-season head-to-head meetings over the past several seasons, winning 9 of the last 10 and outscoring the Spurs by an average of 7.7 points. With both Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving in the lineup, another double-digit win should be in the cards. The last time they hosted San Antonio it ended in a 144-119 victory; in that game the Mavs knocked down 23 threes. I’m not sure if they can replicate that exact output on Wednesday, but I’m counting on Doncic to lead them to a double-digit victory.
Golden State Warriors -3.5 over Los Angeles Clippers (-110)
The Clippers received some bad news ahead of tonight’s game: Kawhi Leonard has been ruled out with a shoulder injury. They could definitely use him after losing 2 of their last 3 games. Without him in the lineup LA is only 2-2 this season and averaging just 113.3 points per game. That’s not good news heading into a game against the suddenly red-hot Warriors. Since coming back home from their annual grammy trip, the Clippers just haven’t had the same feel as the team that went 27-8 over their last 35 games.
It took them a while, but the Warriors are finally back. They have won 5 games in a row — 4 of them by double-digits. If it wasn’t for the pair of 1-point losses against Sacramento and the Lakers (plus the OT loss in Atlanta, where Steph Curry had 60 points), this team could have easily won 11 straight. LA has won 2 of the 3 meetings this season, but Golden State’s only victory came at home when it won 120-114 back in early December. In fact, the Dubs have won 6 straight home games against the Clippers. With the absence of Leonard, I don’t see why we would shy away from once again backing the home team.
