The new NBA season got started last night with the reigning champion Boston Celtics making an immediate statement in their quest to repeat, as they blew out the New York Knicks at TD Garden. That was followed by the LA Lakers taking down the Minnesota Timberwolves at home, in a game where LeBron James and his son Bronny James made history by taking to the court together. Now, we have a monster 10-game slate to look forward to with 20 more teams starting out their 2024-25 season campaigns. As such, I’ve pieced together my best NBA parlay picks across the action, which pays at enticing +1029 odds with Bet365. Let’s dive in, while you can also check out our NBA picks on the side and total for tonight’s big games.

Pacers -5 (-110)

Indiana Pacers -5 over Detroit Pistons (-110)

The Pacers made it all the way to the Eastern Conference Finals last season and boast one of the best point guards in the league in Tyrese Haliburton, so there is a lot to be excited about for Indiana fans. They get a nice start here against a Detroit team that struggled last season. While I do expect the Pistons to improve this season, the Pacers should still have too much for them, especially after they beat them in all 4 matchups in the 2023-24 campaign where the closest Detroit came was 8 points. Offense is usually ahead of defense in terms of early-season chemistry, and Indiana’s talent in putting the ball in the hoop should be too much for the Pistons to overcome.

Milwaukee Bucks -4 over Philadelphia 76ers (-110)

Arguably the game of the night sees the Bucks visit the 76ers at Wells Fargo Center. Philadelphia has announced that both Joel Embiid and Paul George will miss this game, seeing the line shift from the Bucks being 2.5-point underdogs to 4-point favorites. Still, I see value with Milwaukee. The Bucks had a miserable campaign by their standards last season, struggling with injuries in the process, and that should light a fire under their bellies to come out swinging in this one, especially against a weakened opponent. Despite their problems in 2023-24, Milwaukee actually won all 3 of its games against Philly last season and should be able to deliver here, especially after a full training camp under Doc Rivers.

Chicago Bulls ML over New Orleans Pelicans (+210)

To wrap up our NBA parlay picks, I’m taking a shot on the Bulls getting the win at decent odds. Each made it to the Play-in Tournament last season, although only the Pelicans were able to advance to the first round. The Pelicans have added Dejounte Murray to their lineup in a bid to improve, while the Bulls saw DeMar DeRozan depart and brought in Josh Giddey. They’ll also have Lonzo Ball feature after he missed all of last season. New Orleans notoriously starts out slow in seasons and I have this game much closer than the odds suggest, giving value to this plucky Chicago team. With Ball and Ayo Dosunmu coming off the bench, Chicago arguably has more depth and that could make the difference in this one. Let’s go with the Bulls to pull the upset and bring home our NBA parlay.
