We have a 10-game NBA slate to work with on Wednesday, highlighted by an ABC-televised showdown between the New Orleans Pelicans and Golden State Warriors (8:30 pm ET) followed by the Denver Nuggets visiting the Utah Jazz on ESPN (10:00 pm ET). Indiana, Minnesota, Boston, Philadelphia and the Clippers are also among those taking the court. Below is my NBA mega parlay for Wednesday, and also be sure to check out all of our NBA picks.
Spurs -4 (-110)
76ers ML (+120)
Timberwolves ML (+190)
NBA parlay odds: +1118
For this NBA parlay, we are going with 1 favorite against the spread and 2 underdogs on the money line. Let’s break down each of the 3 legs.
San Antonio Spurs -4 over Detroit Pistons (-110)
Whenever you have a chance to bet on a game between the 2 worst teams in the entire association, you just have to do it. And it would actually be wise to do so tonight, because there is good value on San Antonio. The Spurs have had 2 full days off, whereas the Pistons are playing the second game in a back-to-back scenario after getting blown out by Sacramento 131-110 on Tuesday. Detroit has dropped 5 in a row – 3 in humiliating fashion – since ending its 27-game losing streak with a win over Toronto on December 30. Victor Wembanyama has scored at least 20 points in 5 consecutive games for the first time in his career. With the #1 overall pick in great form for San Antonio, another lopsided loss is probably coming Detroit’s way.

Philadelphia 76ers ML over Atlanta Hawks (+120)
I appreciate that Joel Embiid is out for this game, but you would have to remove more than just the reigning NBA MVP from the 76ers’ roster for me to bypass them as underdogs against a team as bad as the Hawks. Atlanta is 14-21, has lost 2 in a row and 6 of its last 8, and is 4 games under .500 even at home. Philadelphia is 10-6 on the road. It has lost 2 straight (both at home), but that just means this team will be playing inspired basketball tonight – plus it has enjoyed 3 days off to recharge the batteries. Tyrese Maxey is averaging 25.9 points, 6.6 assists and 3.6 rebounds per game, so he and Tobias Harris – among others – are enough to make up for Embiid’s absence. Look for the Hawks’ woes to continue.

Minnesota Timberwolves ML over Boston Celtics (+190)
At the other end of the spectrum from the Spurs-Pistons contest is this showdown between the Timberwolves and Celtics – a potential NBA Finals preview. Minnesota is still atop the Western Conference at 26-10 and only Boston (28-8) has a better record in the entire league. Admittedly, this a tough spot for the T-Wolves; they are on the second leg of a back-to-back situation and the C’s are undefeated at home this season. However, the pressure is on Boston as it tries to extend its perfect record inside TD Garden. Moreover, Jrue Holiday, Kristaps Porzingis and Al Horford are all questionable. Minnesota is 1-0 in second legs of back-to-backs this season, plus it has momentum after hammering Orlando 113-92 on Tuesday. That game was never close and the Timberwolves did not have to expend much energy at all. They are in good position to pull off an upset on Wednesday night.
