Joel Embiid and Karl-Anthony Towns stole the show last night as they scored 70 and 62 points respectively, and the action in the NBA continues with 5 more tasty matchups this Tuesday. TNT will have the Knicks vs Nets game live from 7:30 pm ET, followed by the Lakers and Clippers squaring off at 10:00 pm ET. I’ve prepared a 3-team NBA mega parlay for tonight’s action, but make sure you also check out our NBA predictions for individual game picks.

Nuggets -3.5 (-108)

Knicks -4.5 (-106)

Jazz ML (+194)

NBA parlay odds: +1000

Denver Nuggets -3.5 over Indiana Pacers (-108)

Getting MVP chants on the road isn’t new for Nikola Jokic, the 2-time winner of the award led the Nuggets with 42 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists to a 113-104 win over the Washington Wizards. Denver has put together a solid run of 4 wins in 5 games, and one of those wins was against tonight’s opponent the Pacers last week in Denver. It was the Nuggets’ 7th win in a row in head-to-head meetings, and they have a pretty solid chance of pushing that to 8 straight as the 2 teams wrap up their regular season series.

Indiana has been in a bit of a slump lately, losing 4 of 5 games. Many people thought their issues would be fixed by the acquisition of Pascal Siakam, but implementing a player into the starting lineup midway through the season takes time. This will be Siakam’s first home game as a Pacer, but with Tyrese Haliburton, Andrew Nembhard and Isaiah Jackson all questionable to play here I just can’t find enough reasons to back the home team in this one. Take the more consistent Nuggets to cover the spread.

New York Knicks -4.5 over Brooklyn Nets (-106)

The 2 New York teams have been polar opposite of each other in the past several weeks. The Knicks are playing some of the best basketball in the entire NBA since acquiring OG Anunoby, while the Nets have fallen out of the playoff picture completely in the East. Sunday’s 26-point win over Toronto was the Knicks’ 9th in 11 games played as the usual suspects Jalen Brunson (38 points) and Julius Randle (triple-double) led the way, making their cases for the all-star team.

Brooklyn led by as many as 18 points against the Clippers on Sunday, but a 41-15 meltdown in the 4th quarter saw them lose by 11 points. This team has just been all over the place and I wouldn’t be surprised if they made a couple of moves before the trade deadline on February 8. Bettors have been frustrated with their performances against the spread lately, as they’re just 3-15-1 ATS in their last 19 games which is the worst mark in the entire NBA. With the Knicks being the better and in-form team right now, I’ll be taking them to cover the spread in this game.

Utah Jazz ML over New Orleans Pelicans (+194)

To round off this NBA mega parlay I have the Utah Jazz bouncing back after 2 losses in a row with a win at New Orleans. Utah was one of the most in-form teams in the league before losing those games against Oklahoma City(by 5 points) and to Houston (by 1 point in OT). Playing a team as inconsistent as the Pelicans should do them well here, New Orleans has exchanged wins and losses in their last 5 games, plus they’re just 3-6 ATS in their last 9 at Smoothie King Center.

The Jazz have also dominated the head-to-head meetings, winning 5 of the last 6, including 2 of the 3 played this season. Lauri Markkanen and company are also 6-0 ATS in those 6 games so the numbers are clearly on their side here. Utah is one of the rare teams in the NBA without a single player on the injury report and I feel like they can gut out a road win here to wrap up the regular-season series in their favor. All 3 meetings so far this year have been close and the Jazz have the 5th-best rating in clutch situations this season, while the Pelicans are only 28th. Go with Utah as the road underdog here.
