It’s been a thrilling week so far in the NBA, but it all culminates with a 7-game slate this Sunday, including a ABC double-header. The action starts as early as 1 pm ET, I’ve gone in-depth with all 7 games and come up with a tasty +1676 odds Mega Parlay.
Make sure to visit our NBA picks page for predictions on the side and total for Sunday’s action. Now let’s dive into my bet!
BOS Celtics -10.5 (-110)
BKN Nets ML (-102)
ATL Hawks ML (+370)
Parlay odds: +1676
Boston Celtics -10.5 over Washington Wizards (-110)
Boston opens up Sunday’s NBA Mega Parlay as they head to Washington as 10.5 point favorites. After seeing them dominate their last 4 opponents and win every single game by at least 10 points, I’m confident the good run of form will continue here as well. Since the All-Star break Boston leads the NBA in Net Rating (20.6), offensive rating (128.9) and is ranked 5th in defensive rating (108.3).
The Wizards did show signs of life with wins over Miami and Charlotte earlier in the week, but they’ve dropped their last 2 games vs Memphis and Houston by 12 and 16 points. Boston has already beaten them on their home court by 19 points once this season, it could be a struggle for the Wizards to keep this game close.
Brooklny Nets ML over San Antonio Spurs (-102)
The Nets and Spurs close out their regular season series as they meet for the 2nd time this season. Brooklyn dominated the first meeting 123-103 played about a month ago on the East coast. Neither team has excelled as of late, but the Nets have shown glimpses of what this team could look like moving forward with wins over Cleveland (away) and Philadelphia (home) in their last 6 outings.
San Antonio is on a 3-game losing streak they’ve managed to record just 1 win over their last 6 outings. Atlantic Division teams have beaten them 9 times in their last 10 such games, so they’ll have a mountain to climb in this one. Victor Wembanyama might cause the Nets an issue or two down the stretch, but the more experienced Nets should come out on top here.
Atlanta Hawks ML over Los Angeles Clippers (+370)
And to wrap things up, for a bit of a odds boost I have the Atlanta Hawks beating the LA Clippers. The Hawks have dropped 3 in a row, but they’ve been able to stay in games losing only by 2 and 4 points against Utah and Portland. Their three-point shooting is the main reason why I see them winning tonight in LA. Over their past 4 games they’ve made at least 14 threes in every single one of them, plus against the Jazz just 2 days ago they connected on 20 threes. Shooting that good has to pay off at some point.
The Clippers have struggled to get stops from downtown, opponents are at almost 40% efficiency against them in their last 3 games. They also haven’t been as prolific as we’re accustomed to seeing them on offense. They’ve got just 1 victory over their last 4 games, injuries have once again becoming an issue. Players are coming in and out of the line-up, James Harden and Norman Powell are the latest two names to be added to the injury report, with that type of inconsistency it’s hard to expect results. LA is just 2-7 ATS in their last 9 home games, they’ve also covered the spread just twice in their last 7 games overall. Atlanta has nothing to lose here, so let’s go with the upset win.
