After an eventful first day of the In-Season Tournament on Friday, the NBA returns with an 8-game slate on Saturday. I landed my 4th NBA parlay of the season last night as my Knicks vs Bucks SGP cashed at +840 odds! Let’s try to keep the momentum going with another mega parlay.

Check out our NBA picks for predictions on every game on Saturday’s slate, but without further ado let’s get into it.

Orlando Magic ML (+140)

Atlanta Hawks ML (+126)

Over 230.5 in Celtics vs Nets (-110)

NBA mega parlay odds: +935

Orlando Magic ML vs LA Lakers (+140)

To start off this parlay I have the Orlando Magic surprising the Lakers at home, as the teams meet for the second and final time this season already. LA won the game at home 4 days ago by just 3 points, so we could be in for another tight one. Following their 115-113 road win at Utah, the Magic aim to go 4-2 on the season, showing a lot of promise early on. Paolo Banchero just put up 30 against the Jazz after scoring only 9 points against the Lakers earlier in the week, and we need him to step up again.

The reason the Lakers won that game was the play of D’Angelo Russell, who went for 28 points, including 14 in the final quarter. This will be the first of 4 road games for the Lakers as they embark on their yearly Florida visit. With so much travel and an OT game against the Clippers in their last outing, they could struggle. I think the Magic have every right to hope for an upset win, so let’s back them on the money line.

Atlanta Hawks ML vs New Orleans Pelicans (+126)

ESPN analytics favors the Hawks to win this matchup 54.6% to 45.4% and that should come as no surprise. These Hawks are showing a lot of potential with their current 3-game win streak, having scored 127, 127 and 130 points against the Bucks, Wolves and Wizards. They’ve owned this matchup over the last few seasons, going 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings and winning 7 of the last 9 games between the teams.

Head coach Quin Snyder has this team playing really fast, and they are second only to the Boston Celtics in scoring this season and the Pelicans might find it problematic to keep up with this team. Players such as Zion Williamson, who aren’t built for high-paced games, could struggle, plus Brandon Ingram is bothered by a knee injury which could force him to miss out. I believe in the Hawks, so let’s back them at plus-odds to get the W.

Over 230.5 in Celtics vs Nets (-110)

To close things out I have the Celtics vs Nets game going over the total. Offensively, nobody comes even close to Boston after the first 4 games of the season – the Cs rank 1st in offensive rating at 124.8, they lead the league in effective field-goal percentage, true shooting percentage and to top it all off they have a unreal net rating of 20.1. When going into a game as the favorite, the over has cashed in the last 13 of 20 Celtics games. The oddsmakers have set the spread at 10 points in favor of the Celtics.

Although not as impressive, the Nets too have started the season quite well offensively, ranking 8th in offensive rating. Their outlook has somewhat changed compared to last season when they were focused a bit more on stopping teams, they already have 2 games of 120+ points scored over their first 5 played. They are 3-2 on the O/U in those 5 games, having gone over in their only home game so far. In games played on a Saturday, the Nets are 4-2 on the O/U, if we include results from last year. With so much firepower on both rosters I believe backing the points is the way to go here.
