A new week begins in the NBA with a 9-game slate on Monday and what better way to tip things off than with a +875 odds 3-game mega parlay?
I would encourage you to head over to our NBA Picks page for predictions on the spread and total on select games, but now let’s dive into my 3 best bets for tonight’s action!
Bucks -7 (-114)
Clippers ML (+126)
Heat ML (+130)
NBA Parlay odds: +875
Milwaukee Bucks -7 over Toronto Raptors (-114)
We start off our parlay in Toronto, where the Milwaukee Bucks are in town — desperate for a result following a run of just 1 win in their last 5 games. However, what is encouraging is the fact that the Bucks have covered the spread in 6 of their last 9 on the road — where they have a far superior ATS record compared to their home games. Both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard are healthy, so the Raptors will struggle containing those 2 stars. Lillard has struggled a bit lately, but this game is a perfect opportunity for a bounce-back performance because Toronto is allowing almost 42% of opponents’ 3s to go in over the last 3 games. The Raptors’ defense just hasn’t been there all season long; it’s quite clear that this team is tanking in hopes of landing Cooper Flagg in the draft. They have just 1 win in 13 games and are 1-8 SU in their last 9 at home. We just saw the Boston Celtics annihilate them by 54 points a couple of games back, so surely the Bucks can win by 8 at Scotiabank Arena?
Los Angeles Clippers ML over Minnesota Timberwolves (+126)
The Clippers received a very late but great Christmas present, as Kawhi Leonard finally made his season debut for the team in Saturday’s win over Atlanta. Leonard’s teammates responded well to his presence, scoring 131 points on the Hawks — with the Klaw accounting for 12 of those in just 19 minutes on the court. As he ramps up, his numbers will only go up. The Clippers have the potential to be a real problem in the Western Conference if they can stay healthy. On Monday they face a Timberwolves team that has really struggled over the past week or so, losing 3 games in a row. Anthony Edwards was visibly frustrated with opponents double-teaming him in recent games; he responded with a career-high 53 points, but even that wasn’t enough as the Wolves fell 119-105 to the Pistons. Minnesota’s defense just never recovered from trading away Karl-Anthony Towns, so this is the perfect opportunity for the Clippers to pull one back in the regular-season series and avoid getting swept. I’m taking the road team.
Miami Heat ML over Sacramento Kings (+130)
Miami starts off a 6-game West coast road trip at Sacramento. There has been a lot of negativity around the front office with how it has handled the situation surrounding Jimmy Butler, but getting away from all that noise should improve the team chemistry a bit. The Heat just lost by 36 points at home to a tanking Jazz team, so this is the spot for them to bounce back. Sacramento has been in solid form, but it will be playing a 2nd game in 2 nights against a disciplined Heat team. Miami has had the upper hand in this matchup lately, winning 6 of the last 9 meetings — plus it’s hard to trust these Kings after seeing them go 7-14 ATS over their last 21 home games. Sacramento has played 7 games in a back-to-back scenario, winning just 3 times and scoring under 100 points in 3 of them. Fatigue and Miami’s stellar defense could decide this game, so let’s back the road team to get off to a winning start to a long road trip.
