It is a busy night in the Association with 16 teams hitting the NBA hardwood. The game of the night is in Denver where the Clippers and Nuggets clash at 9:00 pm ET, airing live on NBA TV. You can find out our NBA picks for that game and the rest of tonight’s biggest matchups, but for now, let’s get into my NBA parlay picks for today at +1365 odds!

Indiana Pacers +6.5 over Philadelphia 76ers (-110)

With both teams underperforming so far this season, both the Pacers and Sixers are under a lot of pressure right now. Indiana has just 1 victory in 6 games, and this mini 5-day break should have been useful for them as they try to recalibrate. Philadelphia has been on a solid run of 4 wins in 5 games, but 3 of those came against teams with losing records and 1 win came against an injury-depleted Orlando Magic team. Joel Embiid did return against Chicago, but his status is always up in the air.

Indiana has a lot of wings that can bother the 76ers, particularly Pascal Siakam, who is averaging 24.7 points per game in his last 3 against the Sixers. Indiana was close to beating Philly in the first meeting of the season, but a superhuman 45-point effort by Tyrese Maxey prevented that in OT. Over the last 18 meetings, the Pacers have covered the spread 12 times, and I expect Friday’s game to be a close one once again.

LA Lakers ML over Minnesota Timberwolves (+295)

Not having LeBron James here could actually help the Lakers’ chances. LA has a -129 point differential when LeBron is on the court, but we just saw them dominate the Portland Trail Blazers in the first game of the season that James didn’t play in. The defense looked solid as it was only the 2nd time this season a team failed to crack the 100-point mark against the Lakers. D’Angelo Russell also played a stellar game with 28 points and 14 assists, so he will be extra motivated here to do well against the team that traded him away.

Minnesota has played solid defense too lately, but they are still just 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games at Target Center. Bad habits don’t change overnight, so I am looking forward to Anthony Davis once again dominating Rudy Gobert down low. He’s had 30+ points in 3 of the last 5 meetings and Gobert just isn’t mobile enough to handle him. The Lakers are 4-2 ATS in the last 6 meetings, and I’m happy to roll the dice and back them to win outright as road underdogs here as the next leg of our NBA parlay picks.

LA Clippers +6.5 over Denver Nuggets (-106)

Following back-to-back losses, the Clippers are looking to bounce back against a Nuggets team they’ve beaten twice already this season. James Harden has performed extremely well against Denver, averaging 31 points and 13.5 assists. Ivica Zubac is another guy that needs to be mentioned here, having really upped his game on the boards this season.

The Nuggets are just 2-3 over their last 5 games and Nikola Jokic simply isn’t getting the support from his teammates at the moment. Christian Braun, Aaron Gordon and Jamal Murray are all on the injury report ahead of this game, so we could once again see Jokic have a monster stat line. Losing to the Washington Wizards was a really bad look and the Nuggets are an unreliable 3-6-1 ATS in 10 home games this season. This has been a favorable matchup for LA, having won 4 of the last 5 meetings while covering the spread in 5 of 6. The 2 meetings this season were decided by 5 and 4 points, and I can see a similar scenario on Friday. If that happens, the smarter bet is on the Clippers to cover to round off tonight’s NBA parlay.
