Pickswise was nice enough to give me the opportunity to write up my plays for you all. For those of you who don’t know me, they refer to me as JutPicks on Twitter. I post all my plays with brief write-ups every day. Now I get to write even more with no character limit!
I pride myself on being as transparent as they come. My MLB record from last season and this season is listed in my bio. In the regular season, I recorded 255 wins and 166 losses for a gain of +35.8 units. Without further ado, let’s dive into my favorite play for Game 4 of the NLCS!

We’re going right back to this prop that failed us last night. Harper led off the 4th inning with a single but 5-hole hitter Nick Castellanos hit into a double-play that took our chances of Harper scoring a run away. Tonight, Harper and the Phillies will be opposed by right-hander starting pitcher Mike Clevinger. Clevinger is expected to have a short leash tonight just like he did in Game 1 against the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLDS. He pitched 2.2 innings and allowed 5 runs on 6 hits.
Harper is always a threat to be issued a free pass and that’s why I tend to lean toward this prop instead of total bases. We talked yesterday on how hot Harper is swinging the bat. He has at least one hit in eight straight postseason games and a run in seven of nine games through the playoffs.
Nick Castellanos will be hitting behind Harper, who has 3 hits off Clevinger — including a double. This loaded Phillies offense has the potential to drive in Harper at anytime he touches the base pads.
