Pickswise was nice enough to give me the opportunity to write up my plays for you all. For those of you who don’t know me, they refer to me as JutPicks on Twitter. I post all my plays with brief write-ups every day. Now I get to write even more with no character limit!
I pride myself on being as transparent as they come. My MLB record from last season and this season is listed in my bio. In the regular season, I recorded 251 wins and 160 losses for a gain of +38.35 units. Without further ado, let’s dive into my favorite play for day 5 of the MLB Divisional Series.

Joe Musgrove was sensational in the San Diego Padres win or go home game at the New York Mets last Sunday. He threw 7.0 scoreless innings and allowed 1 hit. He has a rich history against the Los Angeles Dodgers this season and will look to lead the Padres to the National League Champions Series.
In 3 starts against the Dodgers this season, Musgrove has a 3.63 ERA including a 5.0-inning shutout performance about 2 weeks ago.
Musgrove has been dominant at home this season. He hasn’t allowed an earned run in over eleven straight innings. The righty has pitched at least 6.0 innings in 10 of 15 starts at Petco Park, which includes multiple starts in which he was limited.
Look for the Padres to lean on Musgrove, especially following his miraculous performance to get them to this point.
