It is most definitely college football day since it’s a Saturday. You know it, I know it, everyone knows it. But, that doesn’t mean we can’t dabble in the MLB playoffs too. There’s nothing wrong with that. We’ve got the Atlanta Braves and Milwaukee Brewers at 5:07pm ET on TBS and I feel like that’s a great opportunity to lay something down. Does it come on during the Penn State vs Iowa game? Yes. But God made commercials for a reason and if we are good enough with the “last” button on the remote, we’ll be fine. Here’s a MLB player prop that goes great with any college football card.
If you’re on Twitter, you need to follow me right now. That’s the best advice I can give you and probably the smartest thing you will do all day. Once lineups are announced for some of this game, there is a chance for opportunity to knock. You should be there to answer it.

MLB player props can differ wildly from site to site and while this one didn’t, we still have a better price at BetMGM. DraftKings hung 4.5 -125 and FanDuel came in at 4.5 for -122. It isn’t the biggest difference in the world but every penny matters. Especially mine.
Besides having a pretty sweet name, Max Fried can pitch. Since June 18, he has started 18 games. In those 18 starts, he’s struck out at least 5 batters 16 times. He fanned 4 guys in the other 2 starts so this guy’s floor is pretty good. I know 4 doesn’t help us today, but you know what I mean.
He gets the Milwaukee Brewers today who looked pretty nervous at the plate yesterday (knees weak, arms heavy, mom’s spaghetti, all that stuff). Charlie Morton ended up fanning 9 of them, which is way more than we need today. On top of that, Brandon Woodruff is on the hill and he can’t hit. In 52 at-bats on the season, he whiffed 28 times. He could easily come up to the plate twice today and if he does, that’s a free whiff.
This is my favorite MLB player prop of the day.
