Pickswise was nice enough to give me the opportunity to write up my plays for you all. For those of you who don’t know me, they refer to me as JutPicks on Twitter. I post all my plays with brief writeups every day. Now I get to write even more with no character limit!
I pride myself on being as transparent as they come. My MLB record from last season and this season is listed in my bio. On the year, I’ve recorded 157 wins and 106 losses for a gain of +38.42 units. Without further ado, let’s dive into my favorite play for Tuesday.

Shane Bieber is in the midst of a rollercoaster of a season. He has produced numerous games in which he has looked like the ace that he once was, or still is. But we have also seen him have games against the likes of the Chicago White Sox and Toronto Blue Jays in which he allowed at least 6 earned runs. With that being said, Bieber owns the Detroit Tigers franchise. In 11 career starts versus the Tigers, Beiber has a 7-4 record with a 2.60 ERA. In those 11 games Bieber has gone over this out prop 7 times, including twice this season.
The Tigers are going to have their hands full tonight just like they have against most right-handed starters this season. In the last month they are hitting a league-low .200 with a .252 on-base percentage.
Bieber is more than capable of keeping a low pitch count and getting rid of batters fast. He is over this line in half of his starts this season and in 7 of 12 on the road.

Alex Manoah (TOR) under 2.5 Earned Runs (-130)

Alex Manoah is easily ones of the games brightest stars. At just 24-years old he made his 1st all-star appearance this season with his 2.45 ERA, which is 7th best in the majors. His opponent tonight will be the surprising division foe Baltimore Orioles.
The Orioles are hitting .270 against right-handed pitching in the last month and have done their fair share of getting to starters early. But Manoah has experience against this Orioles lineup. He diced them up earlier this season, when he allowed only 1 hit and 0 runs.
Manoah is under this line in 17 of 21 starts and I expect him to bring his best tonight as the Blue Jays continue to run away with the top wild-card spot in the American League.
