The #3 prospect for the Atlanta Braves is slowly coming into his own and will look to replicate his last start, where he punched out 11 hitters without allowing a run.
Schwellenbach will meet with the Miami Marlins for the first time in his young career. The Marlins have been pitiful against RHP in terms of striking out since the all-star break. They are striking out at a top-10 rate. With Schwellenbach coming off his best start in the big leagues and this being the first time the Marlins bat will see him, I have him as one of my top MLB player prop plays on Friday’s slate.

Let’s hope the weather holds up in Cleveland tonight because Carlos Carrasco has a tough challenge ahead, and I have a prop at a great price to back. I’m backing the Orioles to score at least 3 runs through the first 5.0 innings.
Tonight will be the second meeting between Carlos Carrasco and the Orioles offense this season. Carrasco somehow surrendered just two earned runs while allowing eight baserunners; I don’t see him getting that lucky on Friday. Since the all-star break the Orioles rank in the top 10 in batting average, K%, BB% and OBP against RHP — all the ingredients for a slashing against Carrasco and his 4.62 xERA.
