We have 11 games to start the week in MLB and it’s just what the doctor ordered. Let’s dive into our best MLB player prop bets for Monday, August 12 as I look to build on my 40-23 record this season. Also don’t forget you can also find out our experts’ MLB picks for today’s matchups.

Los Angeles Dodgers Over 3.5 runs (-140)

Line available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.

The Los Angeles Dodgers expect more help from their lineup come Monday night. Mookie Betts is expected to return to the lineup for the first time in nearly 2 months. He’ll join the likes of Shohei Ohtani and Freddie Freeman at the top of the order in what is regarded as the most lethal top 3 in all of baseball. They’ll be opposed by RHP Freddy Peralta, who sports a 4.40 ERA at home and is coming off allowing 8 hits to the Atlanta Braves in his last start.

While the top 3 of Ohtani, Betts and Freeman lead the Dodgers, Teoscar Henandez and Gavin Lux are no pushovers. Hernadez has been hitting .375 against RHP since the all-star break, while Lux has 22 hits in 61 at-bats against RHP during that span, which is tied for 11th-most. Look for the top 5  of the Dodgers’ order to register at least 4 runs on the road.

Freddie Freeman (LAD) Over 1.5 Hits+Runs+RBIs (-120)

Line available at Bet365 at time of publishing.

Now that Mookie Betts is back to hitting in front of Freddie Freeman, he’ll have ample opportunities to surpass his prop of over 1.5 hits, runs and RBIs against the Brewers. The top 5 of the Dodgers’ order is absolutely lethal, and Teoscar Hernadez and Gavin Lux have crushed RHP this season and can drive in Freeman with one swing of the bat.

Freeman and Freddy Peralta have had their fair share of battles over the last few years. That includes battling against each other just over a month ago, where Freeman registered a hit and a walk against Peralta. Over their careers, Freeman is 5/18 off Peralta with 3 extra-base hits.
