MLB Friday is once again loaded with thrilling offenses against woeful starting pitchers. I’ve combed through each matchup today and have come up with my favorite MLB player prop bets for Friday, May 24. Also, make sure you find out our MLB picks for each of today’s big matchups.

LA Dodgers Team Total over 5.5 runs (-110)

Line available at BetMGM Sportsbook at time of publishing.

I wish Graham Ashcraft the best of luck against the Los Angeles Dodgers tonight. This will be the second time the loaded Dodgers offense faces Ashcraft in just a week. Last Saturday, the Dodgers offense scored 3 runs on Ashcraft in five innings, but that was without Mookie Betts in the lineup — the same Mookie Betts who is the MVP favorite in the National League.

By looking at the market regarding Ashcraft and Dodgers hitters’ props, they expect the RHP to have a tough time tonight in hitter-friendly Great American Ball Park. His “Earned Runs” and “Hits Allowed” props are as high as we’ve seen all season – for good reason, as his xERA and xBA rank in the bottom third of all pitchers. For the Dodgers’ core hitters, you’ll only find their “Hits+Runs+RBIs” prop set at 2.5. Expect a big performance from this LA offense tonight.

MacKenzie Gore (WSH) under 2.5 earned runs (-105)

Line available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.

LHP MacKenzie Gore has turned heads with his play this season. As one of the main pieces in the Juan Soto deal, Gore has had a ton of pressure on him, along with CJ Abrams, and both are answering the call. Gore is off to the best start of his young career, posting a 3.30 ERA and ranking in the 77th percentile in K%. We’re backing him and his earned runs prop tonight, which has cashed in 7 of 9 starts this season.

Gore will face off against the Seattle Mariners tonight for the first time. This will be the first time anybody on the Mariners roster, other than Josh Rojas, has faced off against Gore. Also, the Mariners’ offense has been extremely underwhelming against LHP lately. In the last two weeks, they rank in the bottom 10 in batting average, BB% and are striking out at a top 10 rate. Gore should push 100+ pitches tonight, but with a fully rested bullpen after a day off yesterday, they’ll be ready to go if he gets in trouble before the sixth inning.

After yesterday’s winner, lock in today’s MLB parlay as we look to make it 2 in a row!
