I pride myself on being as transparent as they come. My MLB record from last season and this season is listed in my bio. On the year, I’ve recorded 125 wins and 96 losses for a gain of +19 units. Without further ado, let’s dive into my favorite play for Thursday.
Cristian Javier (HOU) under 2.5 earned runs (-130)

It was an eventful 1st half of the MLB season for myself. Currently, I’m at a gain of over 19 units with a record of 125-96. I’m looking to continue that momentum into the 2nd half of the season and it starts with a Cristian Javier prop!
Javier has amazing numbers against this New York Yankees lineup. Joey Gallo is the only player in the lineup today to register a hit off Javier. The other 8 hitters are a career 0 for 23! Five of the 9 hitters that started against Javier back in June will be in the lineup again today. You may remember that game as Javier pitched 7 innings of no-hit baseball. He struck out 13 batters and had a career day. His strikeout numbers are marvelous this season and that usually results in long counts, which will likely limit his innings.
Javier was extremely limited to start the season so it seems unfair to count those games towards his total. In games where Javier pitched more than 80 pitches, he is under this line in 9 of 13 starts. Of course, we can’t expect Javier to replicate his no-hit performance but I expect him to have a quality start at home.
