Pickswise was nice enough to give me the opportunity to write up my plays for you all. For those of you who don’t know me, they refer to me as JutPicks on Twitter. I post all my plays with brief write-ups every day. Now I get to write even more with no character limit!
I pride myself on being as transparent as they come. My MLB record from last season and this season is listed in my bio. On the year, I’ve recorded 247 wins and 157 losses for a gain of +38 units. Without further ado, let’s dive into my favorite play for Tuesday.

We’re winding down on a great 2022 MLB regular season. All 12 playoff spots have been clinched so many of these games today are meaningless. But I found a player prop that involves one of our most profitable pitchers that we’ve backed all season long in Zac Gallen.
Gallen was arguably the best pitcher in baseball in the 2nd half of the season. He had a 44-inning scoreless streak that was the 7th-longest in MLB history. Tonight, he faces off against the Milwaukee Brewers who are fresh off being eliminated from playoff contention. Gallen matched up against the Brewers back in September and went to work. He threw 7 scoreless innings and allowed only 2 hits. Gallen returned to Earth in his last start against the high-powered Houston Astros. He allowed 6 hits over 7 innings of work. Before that start, he held his opponents to under 5 hits in 13 of 15 starts.
The Brewers are a hot mess. They’re hitting .222 against right-handed pitchers in the last 30 days and have the 7th-highest strikeout rate. Gallen will look to put a stamp on his CY Young-caliber season against a familiar opponent.
