We’re getting into important games late in the season. Both the NL and AL Wild Card races are heating up as more than six teams from each side are in contention. Let’s turn our attention to Brandon Woodruff of the Milwaukee Brewers who is making his first start since April 7. He headlines our top MLB player prop bet of the day. Don’t forget to also check out our MLB predictions for each of today’s games.

These props have the best odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook, and if you sign up right now, then you can bet $5 and secure $150 in bonus bets IMMEDIATELY! Head over to DraftKings now by clicking this link.

Brandon Woodruff (MIL) under 16.5 outs (-110)

Line available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Brandon Woodruff landed on the 60-day IL back in April with a shoulder injury and will be making his first start back against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The matchup here isn’t great. The Pirates rank near the bottom of the league in most major hitting statistics against RHP, but it’s tough to ignore where Woodruff’s pitch count could be. We could see anywhere from 70-80 pitches on Sunday which gives me enough confidence to play this.

He has familiar history against guys like Andrew McCutchen, Bryan Reynolds, and Ke’Bryan Hayes with Woodruff having the advantage so far. Woodruff pitched on Tuesday in a rehab start and went 4 2/3 innings on 72 pitches. Fingers will be crossed that the Pirates can work deep counts against Woodruff and have him exit after the 5th inning.

Check out our NRFI/YRFI picks as we’re on a 22-7 run!

Rich Hill (SDP) under 16.5 outs (-121)

Line available at Caesars Sportsbook at time of publishing.

That felt weird writing “Padres” next to Rich Hill’s name. The veteran continues to play for almost every team in all of baseball, and let’s get into his start tonight against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Hill has the opportunity to pitch in competitive baseball games and help the Padres compete for a Wild Card spot. With that being said, this game means a ton, especially against a division rival. Hill can’t have the same leash that he had in Pittsburgh where he averaged near 95 pitches at one point. The bullpen for San Diego is rested and it’d be a surprise to see Hill go deep into this game if he struggles, which many presume. The books have his earned run prop set at 3.5, and his walks at 2.5.

The Dodgers have crushed LHP since the All-Star break. They rank in the top 10 in BA, OBP, and wRC+. This lineup surprisingly doesn’t have too many batters that have seen Hill in the past but we’re banking on them working counts with Hill’s 8.9 BB%.

With the MLB season in full flow, there has never been a better time to sign up for BetRivers, where you can get up to $500 in bonus bets if your first bet doesn’t win! Click this link to sign up right now.

Juan Soto (SDP) over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI (-115)

Line available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Another play from the Sunday Night Baseball game! Juan Soto has been on a tear since the calendar turned to August. He’s hitting .387 including 2 hits last night, both coming against LHP. Tonight, he’ll face off against RHP Lance Lynn which bodes well for us. Soto is hitting near .300 against RHP this season and already has 3 home runs in August against righties. He’s cashed this prop in 8 of his last 10 games and is rocking an 8-game hitting streak.
