Following a loaded MLB weekend, Monday gives bettors a 10-game slate with plenty of potential playoff teams going at it.

Let’s focus our attention to the marquee matchup on the NL side – the Philadelphia Phillies hosting the San Francisco Giants. Alec Bohm is a lefty killer and headlines our top MLB player prop bet of the day, but be sure to also check out our MLB predictions for every matchup on the docket.

BetRivers is one of the biggest sportsbooks in America, and right now they are giving new customers up to $250 in bonus bets if their first bet loses. There’s no catch, that’s all there is to it! Click this link to join BetRivers.

Alex Bohm (PHI) over 1.5 hits + runs + rbis (-125)

Line available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Alec Bohm being productive in the 2-hole is extremely important for the Phillies success. He’s hitting behind Kyle Schwarber who ranks in the 99th percentile in BB% and is then hitting in front of sluggers Bryce Harper and Nick Castellanos who have all the tools to drive him in. We just need Bohm to find the basepaths for those sluggers.

Tonight, at home, he’s in line to face two LHP pitchers for the San Francisco Giants in Scott Alexander and Sean Manaea — great news for Bohm backers. He’ll face Scott Alexander who is opening the game for the Giants and then see Manaea potentially twice throughout the game. Bohm is hitting .320 against LHP this season with 7 home runs and just a 16% K rate. He has more home runs against lefties in 176 less at-bats against righties.

Both Alexander and Manaea are nothing to be scared of. Alexander ranks in the 24th percentile in xBA%, while Manaea allows a near .800 OBP against right-handed hitters. The Phillies’ offense struggled last night in the Little League Classic, but I trust this experienced offense to come to play in the most important series of their season thus far. Look for Bohm to make it 7 out of his last 10 home games cashing this prop.
