The Colorado Rockies away from Coors Field? Sign me up. Logan Webb doesn’t exactly fit the mold when attacking this hits-allowed prop, but neither did Zac Gallen when we cashed his under on Friday night. Webb will most likely pitch into the 7th inning today against a Rockies team that is hitting .233 against RHP on the road in the last 30 days. His K prop looks great as well with the Rockies striking out a 25.7% clip against RHP on the road this season — 5th-highest in the MLB.
This will be the second time Webb has met the Rockies in 2023. To no surprise, he struggled at Coors Field, allowing 4 runs on 8 hits. But targeting Webb at home is our main point of attack. He has a 2.36 ERA at home and an opponents batting average of .232. In comparison, Webb allows opponents to hit over .260 on the road this season.
We’re eating some juice with this prop but this is a hit too high. Webb has stayed under this line in 5 of 8 games at home and will look to cruise into the All-Star break with a dominant performance against a division rival.
