MLB Sunday gets started early on the East Coast with the Arizona Diamondbacks and Philadelphia Phillies battling at 11:35 A.M. E.T. We’ll pivot to the later games on the slate, while I ride a 9-0 streak of MLB Player Prop Bets. You can also find out our MLB picks for each of today’s big matchups, but for now, let’s dive into my best MLB player prop bet for today’s action.
Reese Olson (DET) under 5.5 Hits Allowed (-113)
Line available at Caesars Sportsbook at time of publishing.
The Detroit Tigers offense has not been kind to Reese Olson when he is on the mound. They’ve scored 1.3 runs for every 27 outs he has recorded. Pitching to a 3.39 ERA, Olson has just one win on the season with eight losses. Today, though, is a great opportunity for Olson to register win number two against the MLB-worst Chicago White Sox, who rank at the bottom of the league in batting average and slugging against RHP thus far in June.
Olson’s props are very much juiced to the over, as the books expect a solid outing from Olson and at least six innings. We’ve found a slight edge in terms of the market on his “hits allowed” prop on Caesars Sportsbook, as BetMGM and DraftKings have this prop listed at -130 and -140. At Just -113, we’ll bite at this price every time – especially against the worst offense in the league.
