MLB Friday presents bettors with all 30 teams in action. I’ve combed through each matchup today and have come up with my two favorite MLB player prop bets for Friday, May 31 which include backing two of the hottest hitters in baseball.

Also, make sure you find out our MLB picks for each of today’s big matchups.

Jurickson Profar (SDP) Over 1.5 hits + runs + RBIs (-125)

Line available at ESPN Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Jurickson Profar continues to be a staple in the middle of the San Diego Padres order. His second stint as a Padre has been wildly successful. The switch hitter is hitting .323 this season — 4th best in the majors. But it’s on the road where Profar has been stellar. He’s eclipsed the over of 1.5 hits + runs + RBIs in 8 of his last 10 games played away from Petco Park.

Profar will be facing former teammate Michael Wacha of the Kanas City Royals. Wacha has struggled against LHH in the early months of the season. He is allowing a batting average of .287 and will likely face off against three of them to start his evening in Luis Arráez, Profar, and Jake Cronenworth. His hits allowed prop of 5.5 is juiced to the over at -165, meaning the books fully expect Wacha to have a tough time against his former team.

David Fry (CLE) over 1.5 hits + runs + RBIs (-120)

Line available at BetMGM Sportsbook at time of publishing.

If you have not heard the name David Fry, get to know it. The 2nd-year pro is on the best stretch of his career. He’s hitting .386 in May while blasting 6 home runs and 15 RBIs. He continues to mash in the middle of a Cleveland Guardians lineup that ranks in the top 12 in batting average to LHP in the last 2 weeks.

Luckily for the Guardians and bettors backing Fry, they will be matched up against Washington Nationals southpaw Patrick Corbin and his 6.37 xERA, which ranks in the bottom 3rd percentile amongst all pitchers in 2024. He continues to be batting practice for hitters — as he has been for the last 3 seasons. Fry and Jose Ramirez have destroyed LHP this season and we can expect them to be the culprits for Corbin getting pieced up on the road.
