MLB parlay pick: San Francisco Giants ML over Philadelphia Phillies (+102)
To start off our MLB parlay for Monday, let’s back the San Francisco Giants on the money line against the Philadelphia Phillies. This is a battle between 2 of the better teams in baseball thus far, which is not what most people would have thought about the Giants prior to the start of the season. San Francisco has been a far better team offensively than many projected, thanks in large part to Jung Hoo Lee, Wilmer Flores and other depth pieces further down the board.
This is a unit that should be able to scratch across at least a couple of runs against Phillies starter Taijuan Walker, who has pitched well in the early going, but his atrocious 2024 season can’t be overlooked (7.10 ERA and 7.09 xERA). On the other side, Landen Roupp gets the ball for the Giants, and he should induce a ton of ground balls and weaker contact against Philadelphia. This should be a close contest, so I’ll take the value with the underdog here.

MLB parlay pick: Boston Red Sox ML over Tampa Bay Rays (-102)
For the 2nd leg of our MLB parlay, we’ll take the Red Sox on the money line against the Rays. Boston has been extremely inconsistent over the last week, but this is still an offense that I’m high on going forward, especially against a Tampa Bay team that is a bit overvalued following its surprisingly decent start to the season.
The Red Sox are a significantly stronger offense against right-handed pitching, as the likes of Jarren Duran, Rafael Devers and Wilyer Abreu should all see success against Rays starter Shane Baz, even factoring in Baz’s strong start. Therefore, while I’m still a bit nervous about backing Tanner Houck (5.34 xERA) from a long-term perspective, this is still a solid matchup and a situation where I’ll back the Boston bats in a game that should feature plenty of scoring.
MLB parlay pick: Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5 over Colorado Rockies (-160)
For the final leg of our MLB parlay, we’re targeting what is perhaps the most lopsided series on the board in the NL West. On one side, we have a Rockies team coming off a brutal series against the San Diego Padres in which Colorado was outscored by a total of 16-0 while only registering a combined 9 hits in those games. Things won’t get any easier for the worst team in baseball against the World Series favorite Los Angeles Dodgers, who have now dropped 3 consecutive series against the Phillies, Nationals and Cubs.
Colorado is just 1-8 on the road this season, and the Rockies will be heading into a hornets’ nest against a motivated Dodgers lineup that should look to tee off against Antonio Senzatela (5.84 xERA, 59.3% hard-hit rate). Let’s back Los Angeles to win comfortably at home.
