Another week where the late games provide significantly better matchups. Chiefs vs 49ers could be a preview of the Super Bowl now that San Francisco has added Christian McCaffrey. Jets vs Broncos will give us an opportunity to see if the Jets can win against a legitimate defense, and I’m expecting Raiders vs Texans to be very high scoring.
One tip if you’re a parlay bettor, split up your parlays by the different slates. There is nothing worse than missing a leg in the 1pm and giving you nothing to root for at 4:00 pm. On the flip side, it’s very exciting to have an open bet waiting for you should your 1pm slate not go as planned. Be smart. Plan ahead. Put the phone down after kickoff. Let’s find some player props….

Josh Jacobs Over 17.5 receiving yards (-117)
Line available at Caesar’s Sportsbook at the time of publishing.
Jacobs is fresh off his bye week and gets a Texans defense that has been gashed by running backs out of the backfield. This season, they’ve allowed Nyheim Hines, Austin Ekeler and Travis Etienne to hit this number with ease. And I know we typically do not view Jacobs in the same light as those pass catching RBs, but it may be time we start. Jacobs has completely revitalized himself in this Josh McDaniels offense. He’s averaging 33 receiving yards per game over the last 3 and has seen 5+ targets in each. The Alabama product has not come off the field much either, seeing over 80% of the snaps in the last two games. The Raiders are desperate for a win coming out of the bye and this Texans team is a prime target. Give me Jacobs for 1.5U and play up to 20.5.
Breece Hall anytime TD scorer (+135)
Line available at DraftKings Sportsbook at the time of publishing.
This is separate from my anytime TD scorer article. I feel confident enough in this to make it one of my individual player props. Hall has scored in all 3 games since Zack Wilson’s return. He’s entrenched himself at the RB1 and is playing well over 65% of the snaps in all 3. He’s also had at least 17 carries in those spots, and they’ve increased every week. We’re seeing an RB workload that very few players have anymore, this is entering Nick Chubb, Jonathan Taylor and Derrick Henry levels. The Jets will likely struggle to move the ball in the passing game but should have some success on the ground. I expect their defense to give Brett Rypien fits and keep this a low scoring game. This is a 1U play for me.
