The NFL Playoffs are finally here with Super Wild Card Weekend, and the Denver Broncos will take on the Buffalo Bills in the early window on Sunday. Buffalo is in a familiar position as a huge favorite in the Wild Card Round, while the Broncos are trying to spring a massive upset in a difficult spot on the road. I’ve taken a look at the anytime touchdown scorer market and have 2 picks to lock in for this AFC matchup.

The Pickswise team has been absolutely on fire with their touchdown scorer prop picks throughout this 2024 NFL campaign, so let’s keep the momentum going! Here are my best TD scorer bets for Sunday’s game, and also be sure to check out our full NFL predictions for the Wild Card Round.

Josh Allen, QB, BUF (-120 at DraftKings)

Over the last couple of postseasons, I’ve targeted Josh Allen to find the end zone on multiple occasions, and those tickets have cashed repeatedly. As I have mentioned in previous touchdown scorer pieces in last postseason, the Bills often turn to Allen to dig them out of a hole when the chips are down, and he typically uses his legs to do so. Offensive coordinator Joe Brady’s reliance on Josh Allen’s legs in pivotal spots has also been consistent in big games this season, and I expect that to continue in a massive win-or-go-home playoff game in Orchard Park on Sunday. Allen has found the end zone with his legs in 6 of the Bills last 7 contests and it wouldn’t surprise me at all if Allen gets multiple opportunities in the red zone in this one. This prop still feels a bit mispriced at the current number, so let’s take advantage and back Allen to find the end zone once again.

Javonte Williams, RB, DEN (+400 at FanDuel)

The Bills are not a team that like to give up the explosive play. In fact, Sean McDermott’s scheme on defense is one that actively guards against surrendering big plays to opposing wideouts. Instead, Buffalo often forces its opponents to matriculate the ball downfield, and are perfectly happy to concede yards in small chunks on the ground, or to running backs out of the backfield. That’s where Broncos running back Javonte Williams comes in. Williams hasn’t registered a touchdown all season, but the Bills defense has surrendered plenty of touchdowns to running backs this season, including 7 touchdowns over the last 5 games. We can expect rookie quarterback Bo Nix to target Williams on checkdowns throughout the game, and that could certainly continue in the red zone, as Denver looks to steer clear of Buffalo’s excellent cornerbacks. We’ll grab the big plus money number with Williams here.
