You can’t conclude super Wild Card Weekend in much better fashion than this. One of the proudest franchises in NFL history is paying a visit to arguably the greatest player in NFL history. The Dallas Cowboys and Tampa Bay Buccaneers may not be the best teams in the league, but in a relatively wide-open NFC there is no reason why either one can’t eventually make the Super Bowl. Will the Cowboys keep their high hopes alive, or will Tom Brady and the Bucs pull off an upset?
It’s time to take a look at the best touchdown scorer bets to be made for Dallas vs Tampa Bay.

Best Dallas Cowboys touchdown scorer bet: CeeDee Lamb, WR (+150)
In the biggest games it is wise for quarterbacks to target their best offensive weapons, and that is what I expect Dak Prescott to do on Monday. Prescott targeted CeeDee Lamb 11 times in the regular-season opener between these teams. Those opportunities didn’t amount to much production in Week 1, but they probably will in the rematch. Tampa Bay has allowed 29 touchdowns through the air (tied for the 2nd-most in the NFL) compared to only 12 on the ground. Lamb scored 9 TDs during the regular season, including 3 in the last 3 weeks. It is also worth noting that 3 of his 4 most recent yardage outputs are 100, 120 and 126. The former Oklahoma standout is rolling right into the playoffs, so it would be no surprise if he keeps it going on Monday night.

Best Tampa Bay Buccaneers touchdown scorer bet: Chris Godwin, WR (+210)
Chris Godwin started a bit slow coming off a torn ACL last season, but he heated up quickly and in just 15 games caught 104 passes for 1,023 yards. The 26-year-old found the end zone only 3 times, but all 3 of those came in the last 8 contests. Dating back to October 16, Godwin has been targeted at least 7 times in every outing – including 7 instances of double-digit targets. Look for Brady to find him early and often in this playoff game, especially when Godwin is matched up with Dallas rookie cornerback DaRon Bland. Although Bland has 4 interceptions in the last 6 games, that’s mainly because he is being picked on by opposing quarterbacks. Bland is giving up a target every 5 snaps and a reception every 6.6 snaps, which are the worst such numbers among starting CBs in the league. I’m anticipating a big day for Godwin, complete with at least 1 TD.

Anytime Touchdown Scorer FAQs
What does “anytime touchdown scorer” mean?
Anytime touchdown scorer is a popular player prop bet that NFL bettors can wager on throughout the season. But what is it, and how do you win?
As the name suggests, placing a wager on the anytime touchdown scorer market is when you tip a particular player to score a touchdown during a game. This can be a rushing or receiving touchdown for an offensive player, or you can wager on a team’s defense/special teams to score a touchdown by interception return and fumble return or kickoff and punt returns.
If your player or defense scores a touchdown, you win! The odds will differ from player-to-player depending on the sportsbooks’ calculated probability of that player scoring.
Does anytime touchdown scorer include passing touchdowns?
Not for a quarterback, no. A player must get into the endzone, himself, in order to qualify as an anytime touchdown scorer. If a quarterback throws a touchdown pass, only the player who caught it counts as the scorer. If Joe Burrow throws a touchdown pass to Ja’Marr Chase, wagers placed on Chase as an anytime touchdown scorer will cash. However, those placed on Burrow as an anytime touchdown scorer will not (unless he also runs for a TD). See below for more on what the anytime touchdown scorer market means for quarterbacks.
What does anytime touchdown scorer mean for a QB?
For a wager on a QB to be an anytime touchdown scorer to cash, he must follow the same rules as a running back, tight end, or receiver. He must get into the endzone himself, either as a runner or a pass-catcher.
In the age of the mobile quarterback, QBs such as Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen and Kyler Murray are often seen rushing in for a touchdown on any given Sunday. And don’t forget the occasional Philly Special, either. QBs can sometimes catch passes for TDs, too.
