In what could be one of the best Monday Night Football games of the season, the Dallas Cowboys will travel to Los Angeles for a date against the Chargers in a pivotal primetime matchup. The Chargers are coming off a bye while the Cowboys were handed a crushing loss at the hands of the 49ers last Sunday. The handicap on this game seems to be a good buy-low spot on Dallas, but that’s not what I’ll be focusing on in this piece.

CeeDee Lamb, WR, DAL (+155 at FanDuel)
This season has been somewhat of a failure to launch for CeeDee Lamb and the Cowboys passing attack, but that should change on Monday. Lamb has established himself as one of the better receivers in football, but Dallas has mainly been playing from ahead this season, so the Cowboys have leaned on the run game and a lot of short to intermediate passes. However, I do think that changes a bit against a high-flying Chargers offense that shouldn’t have much trouble scoring against a banged-up Dallas secondary. On the other side, Los Angeles has a terrible pass defense that has been picked on by every competent quarterback it has faced. This is a nice buy-low spot for Lamb to find the end zone and I’d expect him to be targeted heavily by Dak Prescott throughout the game.

Joshua Palmer, WR, LAC (+250 at FanDuel)
As previously stated, the Chargers offense seems to be operating at a much higher level this season with offensive coordinator Kellen Moore at the controls. Justin Herbert has spread the ball around this season, including finding Joshua Palmer for a couple of explosive passing plays against the Vikings and Raiders. Palmer is averaging over 20 yards per reception over the last 2 weeks and should be targeted more as a clear-cut #2 wide receiver with Mike Williams sidelined for this contest. I’d expect Keenan Allen and Austin Ekeler to garner most of the attention in the red zone, so don’t be surprised if Palmer finds himself in the middle of a couple of pivotal plays around the goal line. I’m calling for 4+ catches for Palmer on Monday, so let’s grab this +250 number for him to score in any fashion.
