Week 2 of the NFL season has a treat for Monday Night Football fans with two games, although they do overlap somewhat. The final game of the slate between the Cleveland Browns and the Pittsburgh Steelers will kick off at 8:15 pm ET on ABC, while the Saints and Panthers matchup is already in progress on ESPN, and it will provide the finale to the second week of action at the Acrisure Stadium.
It’s a fascinating AFC North matchup with the Browns coming off a big home win over the Bengals, while the Steelers are aiming to bounce back in their second home game after a heavy loss to San Francisco. My favorite touchdown scorer bets for the game below include one pick that’s probably not a great surprise and a big-priced longshot.

Nick Chubb, RB, Cleveland Browns (+110 at FanDuel)
You would think that the analytics-friendly front office of the Browns would be one of the last to still be handing a solid paycheck to a running back, but they know there are exceptions to every rule and Nick Chubb still provides the Browns with excellent value in return for his salary. Any thoughts that he would no longer be a key player for the Browns this season as they open up the playbook to feature more Deshaun Watson passes were put to one side when Chubb was again a key man for the Browns offense in the big win over the Bengals in Week 1.
Chubb did not reach the end zone in that game, but he did have 18 carries for 106 yards and will always be an attractive TD scorer when he’s available at plus-money. DraftKings isn’t willing to do that for the Pittsburgh game, listing the former Georgia RB at -135 — but there’s +110 at FanDuel (and +100 at BetMGM), which is hard to turn down. The Steelers are never easy to run against, but Christian McCaffrey had 152 rushing yards and a score against them last week.

Marquise Goodwin, WR, Cleveland Browns (+1600 at BetMGM)
Conditions were far from ideal for long-range passing in Cleveland last week, but the Browns still took a couple of deep shots to new weapon Marquise Goodwin and went close enough to hitting one that it would be no surprise to see the former 49er and Seahawk (among others) getting more chances to open his Browns account today. The former Olympic athlete still has the speed to burn much younger defenders at the age of 32 and while he was targeted only twice last week, he may need only one chance to go all the way.
These current double-digit odds will look even better if Amari Cooper is not able to play due to his groin injury, leaving more targets to share around. FanDuel is showing Goodwin’s talent more respect with a +950 odds anytime TD price.
