Tyrese Maxey Over 3.5 Made Threes (+136)
Tyrese Maxey once again proved that he is the lone consistent players for the Philadelphia 76ers. In a chaotic game on Monday, the Sixers lost Joel Embiid to an ejection after just 14 mins of play, but then Tyrese Maxey took over. The Philly guard exploded for 32 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists, carrying the Sixers to a vital 5-point home win over the Spurs. He has been on a heater lately, especially from downtown with at least 3 threes made in 6 straight games. During this stretch he’s knocking down the three-ball at 42.6% efficiency, while clearing this line in his last 4 games. Boston is a top 10 team in three-point defense this year, but they’ve slipped a little allowing opponents to shoot 36.5% over their last 3 games. We just saw the shorthanded Orlando Magic shoot almost 40% from deep against them on Monday, I say we continue to ride the hot hand of Maxey here and back him to connect on at least 4 threes.

Derrick White Over 14.5 Points (-122)
As good as Maxey is on offense, he simply doesn’t have the capacity to also play lock down defense for 40+ minutes. Derrick White is going to be his match-up for most of the night, the Celtics point guard is averaging 17 points per game this season, he just had 17 in the loss to Orlando on Monday. He’s cleared this line 4 times in 5 games, playing a vital role on offense in a couple of those games. Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and Kristaps Porzingis are all expected to play here, which makes White only the 4th option on offense. And that might not necessarily be a bad thing. With the 76ers focusing on stopping the big 3 first, White can go under the radar a bit and have a solid shooting night here. He’s torched the 76ers for 19+ points in 3 of the last 4 meetings, while averaging 18.3 per game during that stretch.
Jayson Tatum to Record 10+ Rebounds (-140)
Jayson Tatum’s absence on Monday showed just how much the Celtics rely on him, even though they are one of the deepest teams in the league. Jaylen Brown more than made up for Tatum’s scoring, but his presence on the glass was dearly missed. Over his last 7 games Tatum is averaging 11.3 boards per game, upping his season average which currently stands at 9.3 per game. Only once in the month of December he has failed to crack double-digit boards in a game, that happened in the loss to Cleveland at the start of the month. Since then he’s gotten 10 in every single game, I feel like that streak will continue here. Last time he played Philly he had 11, while over the last 5 games head-to-head he’s averaging 10.8 per game. Rebounding isn’t a particular strength of the 76ers who rank just 28th in boards per game, recording 49.4 a night.
