We are on the final day of the MLB 2019 season as it will come down to a Game 7 in the World Series. We have strong pitchers on the mound and deep teams overall. With this being the last game of the season, it is time to end it winning big as our MLB Picks and Prop Bets are ready to cash. First Home Run will be a Solo Home Run +120
Recognizing that the bulk of runs being scored is off the long ball. Why not wager that first dinger being a solo shot. I know it we will have to wait until the bottom of the first but George Springer has been leading off games with homers throughout the Astros run of success.
George Springer to Hit a Home Run and the Astros Win +400
Springer was mentioned above for his ability to power the Astros success. This is a deep team but when it comes to the playoffs there are a couple of names that really stand out in terms of individual success and winning. Springer is at the top of that list. He is the one who can lead this powerful lineup and help our Game 7 World Series best bet with cashing.
Jose Altuve to Hit a Home Run and the Astros to Win +450
A lot of the stuff said about Springer above applies to Altuve and you get the added benefit if an even better payoff. Some novices don’t realize what a power threat Altuve is but all you have to do is look at the numbers. He has five homers in the 2019 playoffs and the Astros have won the game in four of those five. The World Series is the only one he has yet to homer in. Yet.
First 5 Innings Draw +440
I like the idea that we might be all knotted up heading into the latter stage of the game. I can see scenarios where both pitchers are really sharp and we are at 0-0 or even something like 3-3 where we have a little more action. I like that each team has a great chance to respond to the other as opposed to those wagers about which team will score first or last where home and away have a much greater influence on the result.
First Seven Innings Astros -110 (Win/Draw/Win)
The hook on this one is that draw wager. If the game is tied you lose instead of the wager being canceled. I know I said I liked the straight draw at the 5 inning mark above and I do but in this one, you are getting a better payoff on Houston to be winning here than you are on the full game. We have not seen a lot of late-game drama but you are somewhat protected from that with this wage. When a game is super public you have to get creative.
