We have reached week 15 of the NFL season and there is no doubt going to be some surprising things that happen. Let’s break down my five bold predictions for week 15 on what will happen in this full slate of games.
Texans sack Sam Darnold at least six times
The Houston Texans defensive line is stacked and they are facing a New York Jets offensive line that can’t stop anyone. Not only is the offensive line terrible, they are starting Sam Darnold who has made a lot of questionable decisions so far this season.
J.J. Watt is going to have a huge game and he could get at least three goals by himself. This game is going to get ugly early and Darnold is going to need a lot of ice baths next week.
Nick Foles beats the Rams
Nick Foles is going to get the start for the Eagles against the Rams this weekend and I think he will recapture some of the magic he had last year.
Foles used to play for the Rams and it was such a bad experience, he almost decided to quit football. The Rams come into this game off a bad loss against the Bears and I think that will role into this week.
Foles will air the ball out and the Eagles defense will step up just enough to come out with a big victory.
Cowboys score less than 13 points
The Cowboys haven’t had a good season on the road so far this year coming into this game with only two wins and are averaging only 17.2 points per game.
The Colts defense hasn’t been good this year but Prescott’s inability to play on the road will trump that. He will continue to fumble the ball and give the Colts short fields to work with.
After the performance this weekend there will be questions if Prescott will be able to go on the road during the playoffs and win a game, (hint, the answer is no.)
Aaron Rodgers turns the ball over at least twice
Aaron Rodgers has done a really good job of not throwing interceptions this year or turning the ball over but I think that will all change against the Bears.
Rodgers hasn’t done good under pressure this year, and that’s exactly what the Bears strength is. I think he will be under pressure all game and it will lead into a couple of bad decisions.
I expect at least one interception from him, and I think he will also have one fumble lost, and that one might be returned to the end zone.
Raiders win second game in a row
This might not actually be that bold of a prediction but it does involve the Raiders winning, so that is at least surprising.
The Raiders are coming into this game off a win, and now they get to face a Bengals team using a backup quarterback.
I don’t think it will be a pretty win but they will somehow find a way to come out ahead late.
