It’s showtime for Lionel Messi and 2-time world champions Argentina, who need to show their class on Wednesday if they are to qualify for the Last 16 of the World Cup.

Games don’t come much bigger than Argentina vs Poland with so much on the line and we’ve got a bet from it and the other 3 Wednesday games to make up a 4-leg parlay which pays at HUGE +8074 odds with FanDuel Sportsbook.

Robert Lewandowski to score vs Argentina (+340)

Saudi Arabia vs Mexico under 2.5 goals (-102)

France ML & over 2.5 total goals (+118)

Australia vs Denmark tie (+330)

4-leg parlay odds: +8074

Let’s check out the reasoning behind each of our selections.

Robert Lewandowski to score vs Argentina (+340) – 2:00 pm ET

Poland has four points and Argentina has three, but each knows that any slipup will open the door for either Saudi Arabia or Mexico, who meet in the other Group C clash.

Both games kick off at the same time with Argentina vs Poland pitting together two of the great modern marksmen in European football, Lionel Messi and Robert Lewandowski. Messi’s already grabbed a couple of goals while Lewandowski has 1, although the Barcelona star and Poland goalscorer supreme has also missed a penalty.

Argentina, it has to be said, don’t look great and they will likely cough up chances, which someone like Lewandowski should be confident in scoring.

Saudi Arabia vs Mexico under 2.5 goals (-102) – 2:00 pm ET

El Tri is 1 of 3 teams yet to find the net at this year’s World Cup and a 3rd blank means they are on the first flight out of here.

Coach Gerardo Martino is being doubted back in Mexico but the fact is his team looks so light up front that they are probably going to have to pin their hopes on the barely-fit Raul Jimenez. The Saudis, don’t forget, have already beaten Argentina so they’ll believe they can take care of Mexico as well.

This should be close and since only 1 of Saudi Arabia’s last 19 matches has produced over 2 goals, expect a low-scorer.

France ML over Tunisia & over 2.5 total goals (+118) – 10:00 am ET

Tunisia is the other team awaiting a 1st goal in the World Cup and they are going to have to be positive against rivals France in Group D. That means they need to take risks against a French team led by the irrepressible Kylian Mbappe, who is having a ball at these finals.

France head coach Didier Deschamps may make a change or 2 but not so many that his side is anything other than hugely powerful. They should be too good for the Tunisians who will have to chase the game at some point and leave spaces in behind for Mbappe and company to enjoy.

Australia vs Denmark tie (+330) – 10:00 am ET

Australia has gone for the tough-guy route to qualification and it’s paying off since they are 2nd in the group, having beaten Tunisia 1-0, while Denmark has only 1 point to their name.

The Danes, with Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen pulling their strings, are the nicer on the eye of these two. But defense is king for the Socceroos and they are going to make themselves seriously hard to beat. Expect a frustrating 90 minutes for the Danes and the Aussies to get the point that will likely see them advance to the Last 16.
