Iran vs USA under 2.5 goals (-170) – 2:00 pm ET
USA’s matchup with Iran is a crucial game which the USA needs to win to progress to the round of 16. A tie is no good for Gregg Berhalter’s team, who have tied both of their matches so far, against Wales and England.
Iran was beaten 6-2 by England but bounced back in style with a 2-0 win over Wales. The stakes could hardly be higher for this game and it looks set to be low-scoring as a result. England opened its World Cup campaign with a 6-2 win over Iran, but was frustrated by the United States in a goalless second game. The Three Lions should have enough attacking talent to comfortably beat Wales, however, as the Dragons have lost 5 of their last 7 games.
Wales tied 1-1 with the United States but was outplayed and beaten 2-0 by Iran. England can cover the 1-goal spread against an aging Wales team and record a comfortable victory to win the group.
