Meanwhile, the Royals aren’t exactly lighting up the scoreboard on offense this season, either, averaging 4.4 runs per game, but they do have a slight advantage in today’s matchup. Wacha is 0-1 with a 2.25 ERA, going just 4 innings in his last start against the Guardians, striking out 2. Baltimore’s pitching has been a struggle for them so far this season, they are 28th in the league in ERA (5.22). The Royals are 9th in the majors this season in terms of ERA (3.08) and they’ll be looking to improve that number as they send Wacha to the mound to face a struggling Orioles offense.
