SF Giants Win
Our Analysis

To start off our MLB parlay for Monday, let’s back the San Francisco Giants on the money line against the Philadelphia Phillies. This is a battle between 2 of the better teams in baseball thus far, which is not what most people would have thought about the Giants prior to the start of the season. San Francisco has been a far better team offensively than many projected, thanks in large part to Jung Hoo Lee, Wilmer Flores and other depth pieces further down the board.

This is a unit that should be able to scratch across at least a couple of runs against Phillies starter Taijuan Walker, who has pitched well in the early going, but his atrocious 2024 season can’t be overlooked (7.10 ERA and 7.09 xERA). On the other side, Landen Roupp gets the ball for the Giants, and he should induce a ton of ground balls and weaker contact against Philadelphia. This should be a close contest, so I’ll take the value with the underdog here.

Boston Red Sox
Tampa Bay Rays
BOS Red Sox @ TB Rays · Money Line
BOS Red Sox Win
Our Analysis

For the 2nd leg of our MLB parlay, we’ll take the Red Sox on the money line against the Rays. Boston has been extremely inconsistent over the last week, but this is still an offense that I’m high on going forward, especially against a Tampa Bay team that is a bit overvalued following its surprisingly decent start to the season.

The Red Sox are a significantly stronger offense against right-handed pitching, as the likes of Jarren Duran, Rafael Devers and Wilyer Abreu should all see success against Rays starter Shane Baz, even factoring in Baz’s strong start. Therefore, while I’m still a bit nervous about backing Tanner Houck (5.34 xERA) from a long-term perspective, this is still a solid matchup and a situation where I’ll back the Boston bats in a game that should feature plenty of scoring.

Colorado Rockies
Los Angeles Dodgers
COL Rockies @ LA Dodgers · Run Line
LA Dodgers -1.5
Our Analysis

For the final leg of our MLB parlay, we’re targeting what is perhaps the most lopsided series on the board in the NL West. On one side, we have a Rockies team coming off a brutal series against the San Diego Padres in which Colorado was outscored by a total of 16-0 while only registering a combined 9 hits in those games. Things won’t get any easier for the worst team in baseball against the World Series favorite Los Angeles Dodgers, who have now dropped 3 consecutive series against the Phillies, Nationals and Cubs.

Colorado is just 1-8 on the road this season, and the Rockies will be heading into a hornets’ nest against a motivated Dodgers lineup that should look to tee off against Antonio Senzatela (5.84 xERA, 59.3% hard-hit rate). Let’s back Los Angeles to win comfortably at home.

TB Rays Win
Our Analysis

The Rays will welcome the Red Sox to Steinbrenner Field on Monday night as they look to take advantage of a lengthy home stand and make a push to climb the AL East standings. Boston struggled against the White Sox in their last series, scoring just 6 total runs. The Red Sox have dropped 5 of their last 7 games, averaging only 2 runs per game during that stretch. As for the Rays, they’ve had their ups and downs this season, too, losing 4 of their last 7 games, but they’re averaging 4.3 runs during that span. For tonight’s Red Sox vs Rays prediction, I’m leaning towards Tampa Bay.

Shane Baz will take the mound for the Rays in this matchup, and he’s been solid through his first 2 starts of the season. Baz is 1-0 with a 1.38 ERA, and in his last start against the Angels, he pitched 7 innings, allowing just 2 earned runs while striking out 6. The Red Sox will start Tanner Houck, who is 0-1 with a 4.41 ERA this season. Houck has shown improvement with each start, and in his most recent outing against the Blue Jays, he threw 6.2 innings, giving up just 1 earned run on 5 hits. Offensively, the Rays are slightly better in OPS, sitting 8th in the league (.739) while the Red Sox are 14th (.703). In terms of runs scored, the Red Sox are slightly ahead, averaging 4.5 runs per game this season compared to the Rays’ 4.1 runs per game. Despite averaging more runs per game on the season, most of those runs came early on for Boston, and right now, they are just unable to put the bat on the ball well enough for me to trust them. I expect Baz to shut down the Red Sox and put the Rays in a position to win this game, which makes Tampa Bay on the money line my Red Sox vs Rays best bet.

Kansas City Royals
New York Yankees
KC Royals @ NY Yankees · Game Totals
Over 9.0
Our Analysis

We head to the Bronx on Monday night where the Kansas City Royals will face the New York Yankees. After demolishing the Brewers amid the torpedo bat buzz in their opening series, the Yankees have actually lost 3 of 4 series since then. On most nights, it has been the offense that has struggled. The Royals have also found their bats struggling in the early going, as they have only scored over 4 runs twice in 16 games. So with 2 struggling offenses on Monday night, naturally I am going to bet on the bats to rebound. My Royals vs Yankees pick is the game total Over 9.

I don’t love the starting pitching situation for either team, but I especially hate the Yankees’ situation. New York will go with Carlos Carrasco who, at 38 years old, is nothing more than an attempt to eat innings for a very injured rotation. His stuff is well below average at this point and he isn’t going to work deep into games, but he will likely give up runs. On the other side is Seth Lugo. Lugo had a career year last year, but most of us struggled to think it was sustainable or repeatable. He has been very okay so far this season, but mostly against lesser offenses, and I still think the damage is coming at some point. This feels like a night that favors both offenses, and even if those bats have largely struggled this year, both lineups could get going on Monday. I’ll take the Over.

Royals vs Yankees prediction: Over 9 (-105) available at time of publishing. Playable at that number.

New York Mets
Minnesota Twins
NY Mets @ MIN Twins · Game Totals
Under 8.0
Our Analysis

Joe Ryan has had a very strong start to his 2025 season, allowing just 12 combined base runners, including zero walks, through his first 17 innings pitched. This includes a 7-inning scoreless effort in his last time to the mound against a Kansas City Royals lineup he tends to dominate. He does face a tougher Mets lineup today but with his current form and willingness to attack the zone early and often, Ryan should find success against a Mets lineup with a low swing rate. Minnesota also should soon see their bullpen begin to perform better, as they don’t line up as one of the worst units in the sport on paper.

Clay Holmes is attempting to re-enter an MLB starting rotation after several seasons in the Yankees bullpen, and his results so far in 2025 have been a mixed bag. He did get tasked with facing the same Marlins lineup in back-to-back starts, which is not an easy task in any matchup due to increased familiarity and a perhaps improved game plan the 2nd time around. Holmes should benefit from this matchup with the Twins, who have a below-average wRC+ of 98 against right-handed pitching so far this season. I favor the Under on the posted game total between these teams tonight.

What Is An MLB Parlay

A parlay bet is a single bet in which you combine multiple selections. In an MLB parlay you multiply the odds of each individual selection to calculate the parlay odds, so the potential to bet small and win big is great. Similar to an NHL Parlay, MLB Parlays do not have a traditional points spread market, with the run line usually set at +/- 1.5 runs, and the odds change rather than the line itself.

The most commonly wagered markets in MLB parlay bets are Run Lines and Money Lines and are often used to increase the odds when betting on a couple of favorites.

With multiple games played on any given game day, MLB parlays are a great way to have a wager and interest in multiple games on today’s slate.

Our experts analyze every game of the MLB season, leaving no stone unturned in trying to find the best opportunities and strongest selections to make up our MLB parlay bets, all of which can be found here on our MLB Parlay Bets page.

How To Bet On Our MLB Parlay Picks

Betting on MLB picks and parlays is a quick and simple process with any online sportsbook. To create a parlay, you simply have to add multiple selections into your bet slip and click the parlay option before placing your wager.

Comparing odds is always important when placing a wager, but none more so than when placing a parlay bet. In the age of an expanding online sportsbook industry, sportsbooks are eager to custom and display this by competing to provide the best odds across their sportsbook. This is great for the bettor as you can shop around to find the best odds before placing your wager.

In an MLB parlay bet where you may be combining three strong favorites, each at odds of -200 with one online sportsbook, your $100 wager would return $338 if another sportsbook has the same three selections at odds of -150, a marginal difference, but with parlay odds multiplying, the difference in the payout is noticeable, with this scenario returning $463 for a $100 wager, $125 more.

How To Win An MLB Parlay Bet

MLB parlay bets are increasingly popular but can be notoriously tough to land, with teams often splitting MLB series’ and The premise that anyone can beat anyone, on any given day.

So avoiding these potential pitfalls in adding selections to your MLB parlay is the toughest part. Our experts analyze everything from team form and news, matchups, weather conditions, and a wealth of player and team statistics ahead of making all of our MLB predictions to try best to reduce the chances of this.

Here are a couple of popular MLB parlay strategies used to try and increase the value of your odds with the aim of avoiding baseball’s variance and give yourself the best chance of turning a profit long term.

  1. Parlaying large favorites –  Straight wagers on large favorites offer bettors little value, a $100 wager on a -200 favorite will return just $150, a little reward for your risk. Combining two favorites at the same odds of -200 would see your same $100 stake would return $225, a more appealing return for your wager.
  2. Home Favourite and Under – You can parlay the money line and run total in the same game and a large home favorite and the under is a popular choice amongst MLB parlay bettors. Home teams bat last in baseball, and when they have a lead, the game only goes 8.5 innings instead of 9, a plus for unders backers.

Our expert handicappers have a wealth of experience wagering on MLB parlay bets, with tried and tested strategies and analysis in hand, we provide the best free MLB parlay bets throughout the season.

How To Calculate MLB Parlay Odds

An MLB parlay bet is a single wager on multiple MLB Picks, with all selections needing to win for your ticket to cash. One of the main reasons sports bettors wager on MLB parlays is due to a large number of games, and an MLB parlay bet allows you to wager on multiple games at bigger odds than straight wagers.

One aspect of the parlay bet that can confuse sports bettors is the odds of an MLB parlay bet. Where some examples like NFL Parlays will comprise of selections such as Against The Spread or Totals, these are fixed odds of always around +110 or -110, and thus, the parlay odds stay fairly constant too with a 3-team NFL parlay around 6/1 or a 4-team parlay around 12/1.

With MLB parlays, the markets are often not fixed odds, instead, the run line is fixed at +/-1.5 runs or +/- 0.5 runs with the odds changing to reflect the matchup. Similarly, Moneyline odds, which are also common in MLB parlays, will differ depending on the matchup, so calculating parlay odds aren’t as simple.

To calculate parlay odds you must multiply the odds of each selection of the parlay, the easiest form of odds to do this with is decimal.

For Example

If you want to parlay three selections at odds of 3.0, 4.3, and 2.2 you simply multiply the odds of your selections and then by your stake to calculate your winnings.

3.0 x 4.3 x 2.2 = 28.38 odds

28.38 x $50 stake = $1,419 payout.

All online sportsbooks will calculate the parlay odds and potential payouts for your selections if you add them to your bet slip and click on the parlay tab.

Baseball Parlays – What Is An MLB Same Game Parlay

An MLB Same Game Parlay is the same as a regular MLB parlay, a multi-selection single bet, the difference being, the MLB Same Game Parlay sees all of the picks come from the same match rather than a selection from multiple different matches. The big positive of an MLB Same Game Parlay is that by combining multiple picks you can shoot for a bigger win on the game you’re watching or the team you root for, as like all parlays, the odds of your MLB Saem Game Parlay increase with each selection.

MLB Same Game Parlays also allow us to be strategic in our approach and knowing which picks to combine with one another. One of the most popular MLB Same Game Parlay strategies is to add correlated props and picks to the parlay. What we mean by correlated props is choosing picks that are in some way linked to each other, with the outcome of one pick likely to improve the chances of another. For Example, if you like a team in a particular spot because they have a favorable matchup against the starting pitcher, you might envision an easy win for the team in a high-scoring, high-action game. In this spot, you may look to parlay the team to win on the run line, or even an enhanced run spread, say -2.5 runs, along with a number of players to have 2+ hits, to score a run or hit a home run. By combing these picks, if you are right in your analysis that a team can score and cover -.2.5 runs, if they do, the batters will likely be registering plenty of hits and runs themselves.

As with any type of Parlay wager, the more selections you add to your MLB Same Game Parlay, the more difficult it is to win, but also that more the odds will increase. It’s a fine line between shooting for the stars and trying to seek out value in an MLB Parlay so adding 3 or 4 picks is usually a better option for your main play with a sprinkle play on a parlay with more selections than that.
