NL Win(-110)2025 MLB All-Star Game

Major League Baseball will play its 96th All-Star Game on Tuesday, and they will do it in Atlanta’s Truist Park. If you are interested in century-long trends, this game is pretty even, with the AL leading the series 48-44 (there isn’t always a winner). More recently, of course, the AL has dominated the Senior Circuit, winning 22 of the previous 27. When the AL took last year’s game, 5-3, it broke up a modest 1-game winning streak for the National League. Of course, I’m not sure any of that really matters when it comes to an exhibition game that (thankfully) has nothing at stake and in which the roster is different every year. But I’m sure plenty of people (myself included) will want action on this game because it is the only show in town on Tuesday (with apologies to Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham). So, what shall we do? Me, I am going with the NL.

When all the dust settles and we figure out who is playing or opting out, who is available to pitch and who isn’t, and all of those very key but very difficult things to ascertain, I think I like the NL roster better. We all know about Tarik Skubal vs Paul Skenes in the first inning, which is cool. But the rest of the pitching? On the AL side, we will NOT see Garrett Crochet, Max Fried, Yusei Kikuchi, Jacob deGrom or Hunter Brown. On the NL side, we will NOT see Zack Wheeler, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Robbie Ray or Freddy Peralta. Most of those guys pitched over the weekend and aren’t available. I almost prefer to try to guess who will give up runs instead. Clayton Kershaw? Kris Bubic? One of the 3 (yes, three) Padres relievers on the roster?

And the lineups? Look, everyone here is good, that’s why it is an All-Star Game. But when we get into the late innings and the non-starters are in the game, I definitely like the NL depth better. This game probably finishes with Fernando Tatis Jr., James Wood and Corbin Carroll in the outfield, and Kyle Schwarber and Elly de la Cruz in the lineup too. I’ll take my chances with those guys. The AL roster seems thin to me. It would be mean to say it is Cal Raleigh, Aaron Judge and whoever else would agree to play, but it is definitely not a collection of the truly best players in the AL. We all know this game will come down to a random solo homer somewhere in the middle innings, and that is always just a shot in the dark for our betting card, but I am going with the National League to deliver in Atlanta.

2025 MLB All-Star Game prediction: National League ML (-110) available at time of publishing. Playable at that number.

What Are Our MLB Best Bets

At Pickswise our expert handicappers spend hours analyzing each match of the MLB season, delving into the latest MLB statistics, team news, travel, schedule, weather, trends to name just a few angles we cover and consider.

With a large number of games each day throughout the 2024 season and up to 15 matches on any given day (or sometimes more if there are doubleheaders), being selective in your wagers is key in trying to secure a long-term profit. That’s where our confidence ratings and MLB best bets come into play.

Where Should I Wager On Your MLB Best Bets Today?

MLB is one of the most popular sports that sports bettors place wagers on and as such, most online sportsbooks will offer competitive prices about a plethora of markets on each game.
