Houston Dynamo vs. Sporting KC

Sporting Kansas s City got their season off to a perfect start with a 3-1 win over the Vancouver Whitecaps last weekend. The win puts SKC joint top of the Western Conference with three points and a +2 goal difference as they look to bounce back from a poor 2019 campaign. The Houston Dynamo are also looking to rebound from a 2019 that was below their standards and they started out with a very credible draw on the road in LA against the Galaxy. Sporting has been solid in regular-season games against the Dynamo as of late as they are undefeated in their last five contests with a 3-0-2 record. This is in stark contrast to an overall record against the Dynamo at Children’s Mercy Park when they are 2-1-6 in their last nine, picking up just 12 points (but rarely falling to defeat). Houston is still figuring their best lineup out under new coach Tab Ramos and that will be more than enough for SKC to pick up a home win here.
