Tulane Green Wave vs Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Prediction, Odds and Picks for Tomorrow, 09/21/24
Tulane vs UL Lafayette Pickswise Expert Predictions
Tulane was thought to be in the running for that G5 playoffs spot coming into the season. However, At 1-2, they have no more margin for error, even though both of those losses were expected (they were underdogs in each). They are on the road again this week, but they are small favorites against in-state Louisiana. Over the last couple of weeks, they showed well against the likes of Oklahoma and Kansas State, but I think it is fair to say there is some uncertainty about the Green Wave.
The Cajuns are 2-0 so far this season. They have this game and one more aganist Wake Forest to show their ceiling before diving into Sun Belt play. The run game has been very good for ASU, but you have to consider the opponents. Being at home can only help, though with both teams from Louisiana so that might not be as much of an advantage against the Green Wave. They are 6-23 against Tulane all time but haven’t played them since 2018.
Tulane is a small favorite in this battle in Bayou State. Their recent losses are giving us a great buy-low opportunity and I do not want to miss it. The Cajuns are no pushover but if things have been a little different this would probably be something like -7. Hit it now before it moves and loses some value.
Tulane -3 available at publishing.
